Essentially, remove corruption and bad influences from popular media and ensure that schools properly educate instead of indoctrinate. And it's racist as fuck of course.

Pure capitalism looks more like Hong Kong, where a hundred different companies can clone your product at every price-point and quality level. We'd already have open-source Windows if it weren't "illegal." The source code's been leaked before

iTHINK honoring (reasonable) license agreements is important. That said, I honor few license agreements, some merely because they are rather difficult to profitably dishonor (e.g. ISC license), some because they are unreasonable (e.g. Evil EULAs/Ts&Cs).
>minarchism
Almost agree. I require further involution: let multiple minarchist states overlap. With only one (i.e. monopoly on force), (((they))) can just take over, but with multiple, if one starts taking over, the others would have to benefit from (((their))) taking over for (((their))) takeover to succeed (i.e. Why would (((their))) competion let (((them))) force them out of the force market?).
>paying some taxes is okay with me as long as they're putting it to good and efficient use
the reason taxes are rarely put to good use is because they're taxes, i.e. involuntary payment (often for undefined or vaguely defined promises of service). If you were going to be paid the same anyway, would you care about the quality of work? You'd care about minimizing your costs, so that you can spend 'your' money on the things you like. Maybe you're a man of honour, so you might actually spend wisely, but the men of honour are the exceptions. Governments are likewise not likely men of honour: in govenrment spending, the roads and schools (the boring stuff that the people want) are not well funded, or not well organized, causing spending to be inefficient, while the government's fetishes, such as military, show extreme, still inefficient (but they can always throw more money at it), spending.

No. I'm very pragmatic when it comes to software so anything that works and works like i want it will do. I favor free software for freedom of use and security, i also believe that putting in the work to understand something a little bit troublesome is rewarding and fun.

Mostly minarchist, with some right-leaning stances (a la rothbard and hoppe), so I guess paleo-libertarian is a good fit.
Mostly use FOSS software, though will use proprietary stuff when it's necessary or more efficient (so long as I can verify that it's safe and clean through testing). GNU / Linux (currently Lubuntu) is my main OS, with Windows 7 begrudgingly installed on another drive (necessary for work). I also have a macbook - obviously running OS X - for work situations which require it.
I think the GNU people are overzealous, and for my own code I strongly favor non-GPL-compatible open source licenses, which restrict commercial use for anyone but the original author, and stipulate clear acknowledgment of said entity at the very least. Ideally all software should be open source, but it is each individual's right to decide whether to use and/or distribute proprietary software.
Further, I could not care in the slightest about the social or political beliefs of the developer(s) behind software I utilize. I will gladly take advantage of software made by negro-fucking trannies, or 1488 neo-nazis. So long as it does what it is supposed to, and does it well, I will use it.

His opinion on wealth distribution, fascism or form of government has literally no impact on his concrete technical work. It only affects his motivation and maybe which projects he invests in.
As I understand it, his motivation is that people should be able to know that their computers do exactly what they tell them to do. He is opposed to domestic or foreign powers using technology as a means to impose their will on others.
Basically everybody will agree with that, form communists to fascists, libertarians, anarchists, fundamentalist christians and royalists.

Far-Right/Trad-Cath/Distributist/Quasi-Evolatard here.
I think one aspect of technology in today's world which is highlighted in the spaces between operating systems is "tech as tool" versus "tech as experience". Those who lean towards the former tend to be more politically conscious than the later, since it's the murky quagmire of liberal capitalism which seeks to marketise all possible human experiences and therefore appeal to the lowest common denominators. Install any Linux distro, for instance, and notice the lack of creepy Orwellian splash screens you find when you install Windows. The latter seeks to present itself as almost a portal to another realm -- Apple products do this the most, however. Modern people ache to escape the existential nightmare of modern reality and seek to exist in an alternate state of blissful subservience to the demonness of humanist mommydom. Computers are, for all intents and purposes, very small, dense abacuses. The machine reality is more acceptable to a user who wishes to be in control of his or her experience, whereas your average liberal serf desires the annihilation which is simulated by a fundamentally trans- (and therefore anti-) human interaction.
In other words, accepting that technology is a tool akin to a rock means that you have accepted, at least in part, your own mortality and that of all things. The "Right vs. Left" paradigm breaks down here (as it should).

I don't subscribe to a particular ideology, be it political or religious. They all seem flawed in some way or another, so I'm hesitant to label myself.
Despite this, I think there is a way to structure society that is better than others, also, I do value individual freedom.
My "beliefs" are determined by the current political landscape, be that my selection process is what I think looks interesting or fun at the moment. It's Usually extremist viewpoints for the sake of being contrarian.
Around the 2016 election, I had a brief stint with Atomwaffen Division, the adrenaline high of riling of protesters and getting into fistfights was like no other. Outside of organizing in the streets, we used to LARP in the forest and on Discord. After a while, media attention died down and the whole thing became a drag so I dipped.
During this, there was a drama about supposedly satanic infiltration from a group called the "Order of Nine Angles" aka "ONA / O9A", or at least an American subsidiary of them. In any case, it's wacko central and seemed like a whole lot of fun.
The rabbit hole on these fellows is deep, if you're ever bored I suggest you look into them, it's some crazy shit. So anyway, I read up on their literature and their beliefs are on par with Scientology, Liber 333 reads like a script for a Blade movie. As I said, real looney shit.
The requirements for joining is interesting though, one of way in is to work as a police officer for six months. "Challange accepted," I thought, and went to sign up for the academy.
So not long ago I graduated and is currently interning as an airport security personnel. As you can imagine, there isn't much to do nowadays except watching anime and shitposting here.
My long-term goal is to do my time as an LEO and hopefully be accepted into ONA. After that, I'm planning on infiltrating either the FSF or OSI to steer them into self-destruction. They probably don't need my help with that because I suspect there's already a person doing the same thing. He goes by the name "augusta" in our IRC and talks a lot about using SJW rhetoric to manipulate open-source groups.
I've never been a fan personally of the SJW mindset, so I feel no remorse about doing this, they brought it onto themselves. You might think I'm evil to team up with literal Satanists for my own amusement, but trust me, I pale in comparison to some of these lefty faggots.
To answer OPs question; Although everything is politics, I despise the climate and only involve myself with it out of contemptuous vitriol.

National Socialist, or something approximating the spirit of it. Family. Folk. Fatherland.
I don't believe that preference in software affects preference in politics, at least not for me. I run open-source exclusively, and have done for 2 decades, but that is more due to distrust of proprietary software and jewish corporations than a political position. I'm not against people turning a profit from software; I am a programmer myself. But any private corporation must, in my view, be strongly regulated to ensure that they are working for the benefit of the nation and its people. Today's globalised corporate behemoths are the antithesis to that.
But the converse is true: preference in politics certainly affects my preference in software. There are many services moderated by shitstain liberals that I will not (or indeed cannot) use, for obvious reasons.
