So I just started following this whole Odin Project by Ron Watkins and I am interested in learning more about it. Let's do an overview, shall we?

Zeronet - an FBI honeypot that collects users IP addresses and VPN services, which was later proven by the Daily Beast after the IPs of thousands of 08chan users was leaked.

Tor - same as above, in that the FBI can backdoor your privacy as proven in many hidden service takedowns, but also the Tor project team are massive shitlibs who denounced the Daily Stormer and cut off their exit nodes so that Anglin and Weev had to use custom ones just to keep the site up and running. And Tor websites aren't immune to DDoSing as we've seen with 8kun.

Lokinet - a new experimental Tor alternative, but is still in it's beginning phase so it's vulnerable to attack, but the dev team are otherwise ideologically aligned with 8kun.

Odin - a new alternative that is currently under development and has yet to be released. But the only question is: will it survive prolonged attacks by activists once up? Only time will tell.

So yeah, Tor obviously can still host wrongthink content when it's not under constant attack, but same with Loki. Zeronet is garbage, while Odin has yet to be released. It is Jim/Ron's latest project after Susucoin.

Lokinet is evolving very rapidly. Their session messenger has been getting better exponentially. (it became a little buggy last update, but they should fix it asap)

Is there any more reading to why people think TOR is honeypot, where the argument boils down to more than "the government made it"?

Isn't odin just a tor wannabe aka hiddenservice blockchain?

It's only censorship circumvention (such as ddos) for the host but keep in mind what the ISP+governments could do, this is to say something like Iran or China firewall-levels.

I saw (your)a thread on /pnd/ about rebuilding the internet, not even close. You need infrastructure not relying on the current one which is to say "if one day all tech or internet provider CEOs just stepped down" and the "great culling" happens then we're all sitting ducks. TL;DR self reliance of internet or basic networks not relying on economy/gov/companies.

Tor isn't even safe, I mean the ISP will still see what you're doing and assuming the proxychain (7 proxies whatever) were of the same ASN or the endpoints being compromised then they could literally identify the user - this is common sense and mainly why I don't use tor or the browser and the only sane way to use it would be over burner but even burner data have packet inspection and block them off or either they're slower than a 96kbps modem - throttled and closed ports.

If any, focus on the end users deployablility of the network infrastructure. We're talking governmental and corporational dysfunction.

>tor isn't safe

Forgot to tell why I brought this up, it is to say most people have poor settings with their OS/router/programs.

The average people don't use dpi removing tools, esni dnssec tls DNS, or even bother to use no log vpn/dns which is to say it's not about the safetiness of the service/host but also the user of it.

>Zeronet - an FBI honeypot

Retarded shill detected. Of fucking course your IP is available to others unless you use Tor always mode.

It's written in fucking Go.

Every single user is running the 3rd-party compiled binary on their Windows box.

99.9% of those Windows users do not have the brain capacity to tell if the executiables are compromised.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

>users do not have the brain capacity to tell if the executiables are compromised

That tells nothing about the network itself.

No tool is fail-proof. Tor is no exception. It won't protect you from a targeted attack, but using it is still better than not using.

server compromise is not Tor compromise

u wot m90

> Lokinet

> Odin

Censorship resistant and distributed networks have existed for ages. Look at gnunet and i2p. You're being sold some shiny new brand to prop up the incompetent, greedy, and klout famers.

not a thing

anybody familiar with these technologies would ever think to string these words together like this

delete this

Let's hope you realize (You) are most people.

Java, m'lord.

This is not an argument against i2p. It's also not going to be fixed by any of OPs shillshit

I have been interested in technology since childhood. When I got to school and college later, I was a fan of technology and wanted to connect my life with it. Now, in order to enter the university, I need to write a personal statement. I turned to a personal statement writer https://www.personalstatementwriter.com/ so that he could help me write this document well.

It's great that you like technology so much. I understand you very well, because I too have been following the development of technology since high school and always liked to read a lot about it. I even wrote an essay on it. But since I'm a law student, I don't have time to do my favorite thing right now. I have difficulty writing essays. So I decided to ask for law essay help https://www.essaywritinglab.co.uk/law-essay-help/ on the recommendation of a friend. I hope I will be able to turn in my work in time.
