Excerpt from main page: "Many links to streaming audio and video that you come across on the web are hidden behind javascript or activex scripts. Because of this, it is sometimes very difficult to figure out the actual urls that correspond to the streams being played. URL Snooper provides easy solution to finding the URLs for all streams by by watching network traffic and identifying potential urls, especially streaming media urls."

Pulseaudio. Many websites (and linux distros) shit on it and say you "just need alsa", but alsa itself can't play sound from two applications at a time. It also has problems with recording sound from USB soundcards (despite any asoundrc "hacks", I still couldn't manage it), but Pulse allows that easily. It also allows to set different volumes for each application. I wasted too much time listening to these sites that said "you just need alsa man, pulse is dead! Here's an asoundrc hack that totally doesn't work!" but I finally just got Pulse and I'm glad.

I didn't fuck up anything aside from trusting all these websites. I used whatever is the default and that couldn't play from multiple applications nor record from a USB soundcard (it recorded from the microphone instead). Then I "learned" that various "asoundrc hacks" will solve that but they didn't, so I jumped to the only available solution.

Great that it works for you, but it didn't for me. Try recording from an USB soundcard with ffmpeg and tell me if it works with plain alsa (no, really, I'm interested).

Thank you for posting this, I had this program at an earlier time but I forgot what it was called and I wasn't sure how to reacquire it. Search engines are a bag of dildos.

>$21 a year

>paying a yearly subscription fee

As if I don't already pay enough fees for things, if I were a professional using this for a job, I could see paying a yearly fee for this shit, but paying yearly fees for shit like this is bullshit.

This is obviously a joke. BleachBit is better.

winrar just works and that's why most normies use it, but it's hell annoying its "buy the program" window.

LibreOffice is better. It even supports the ribbon ui from MS Office

My recommendation is Claws Mail as a replacement for Thunderbird, which's bloated and full of webshit.

https://claws-mail.org/

>claws is secure. Only it and mutt passed the security test against the efail attack

>supports gpg

>lightweight and it has a clean UI

swap-ctrl-alt

Not really a program, but a registry file to do as the name says: Alt and Ctrl are swapped around, which makes it more comfortable and "Mac-like" to enter most keyboard shortcuts.

You morons should instead use PeaZip.

It's 1000x better than WinRAR ever was.

It's Chinkware (I speak from experience). BleachBit does it all, but for 100% free.

Shotcut (Video Editing/Making Software)'

Basically Kdenlive, but it's not exclusive to Linux, and it comes with a ton of extra features.

https://www.shotcut.org/

Krita (Best Adobe Illustrator Alternative)

Unlike GIMP, Krita has an active and passionate userbase. Not only do they release updates frequently, the program is 100% compatible with .ai and .psd files.

https://krita.org/en/

DeaDBeeF (Music Player)

Unlike the others, this one isn't abandoned yet.
