Thing is, unless the artist is a popufur, you don't want to see it when it's freely available. You magically act like you give a shit when it's taken down but in the 5 years it was up maybe 20 of you fuckers ever looked at it, 3 of you faved it and none of you saved a copy. A lot of FA users could wipe their whole galleries and few of you would genuinely care because you don't pay them any attention when they're actively posting. I actually stopped uploading entirely due to lack of interest and no one has said a word. It didn't affect them. I could wipe it and there would be this "anyone got copies?" pretend shit and wishing to look at an archive, but no one would really honesty care.
It reeks more of "waaah I wanted that how dare you take it" than actual interest. People have this weird need to pretend they're being deprived when things they have but don't care about or pay attention to are suddenly snatched from them.

When I delete art from my FA account it's because the artwork no longer conforms to my artistic vision. I no longer want it to exist, and I am as free to delete it as I was free to create it. I don't have to ask anyone's permission or warn anyone when it comes time to delete my gallery.
Sites that archive my art without my permission are terrible because they remove my control over my own artwork that I created with my own hands.
Don't be entitled and think of it like you're being denied the ability to view my art when I choose to delete my gallery. Think of it instead like I never made it in the first place.

Actually, you're wrong. In the USA, you're allowed to take photos of people until they explicitly tell you to stop. And even after they tell you to stop, they can't make you delete previous photographs unless they can come up with a strong moral rights reason to make you do so.
