Kemonogiga launched in 2018, so it takes a while time for this manga to get an anime adoption in 2022. Kemonogiga released four printed volumes in Amazon Japan, but i hope more volumes will be released, and after that, it will get an anime adoption. And for Kishibe, he launched LN at 2019, so i hope it gets to air in 2023.
I like Kishibe's art style, espcially on how he did an amazing contribution character designs to the kemono units in Fullbokko Heroes X, a gacha smartphone game by CC2 that ended its service a year ago. His style has such an cute Kemono moe appeal and it adores me so much.
Hopefully for bright for future for these kemono artists to go professional and start their non-h works.

Most people I've talked to are either indifferent or revile the show for being essentially the perfect example of everything wrong with where the content in anime has been going. The few that I have talked to who do like it, are about as stereotypical as you could expect of people that like their porn to pretend to be ‘not porn!’ in episodic format. I honestly can't get into it myself, despite being an anime veteran (certainly liked the parodic lewdness of DxD well enough). The show just doesn't grab me at all, nothing about it comes of ass special. It's too fansercive-y to get that interesting in the sense of a plot but too censored for me to take it as a guilty pleasure. Plus, despite it being rather lewd, it honestly plays it too safe; almost all the characters look too moe and humanised to be visually stimulating, looking less than different species and more like "Humans but with an X". The only one that looks kinda interesting is Elza, but her one purpose is to be used for a one-off Futa-gag, instead of the series doing anything with her or her species. (A real-life hyena's pseudo-penis actually has to retract for them to have sex, though I've seen furry art here that shows they can still be penetrated even when hanging out, which would still be interesting.) It's honestly just so bland and by-the-numbers, and for a series like this, this is the worst thing you could possibly do, because it's not even trying to be good. It's like this horrid amalgamation of skeevy plot and incredibly lame as hell/so generic it-has-almost-no-flavor execution. It's just gross enough to be lowbrow ecchi and just lame enough to not be a guilty pleasure. Inb4 ‘rated 2nd’ things can be trash and still popular. Eromanga sensei was pretty up there for a while, after all.

They used Elsa as a one-off gag because literally every episode was about one-off monster girl gags, and seeing what inventive new setups they could do with the various fantasy species.
Personally, I appreciated the show for the dynamics between the main characters, and I think that playing it safe made things more interesting. Actual hentai OVA tend to be the kind of shitty sex loops that get made into porn site ad banners, but when a thirsty female imp flies crotch-first at a glass window to get at the protagonists and leaves a slime trail on the glass, that's interesting and fun.
I don't think anyone but horny teenagers pretends this is a substitute for porn when they could easily get, you know, porn. All of the twenty-and-up anime fans I've talked to have just enjoyed it for being a fun, positive show about a group of bros, with the sexy stuff playing second fiddle and basically taking the place of standard fantasy quests. You'd have a point if the sex was all there was, but at almost every moment the focus is on the characters' reactions to those situations. (I say this as someone who couldn't get through Monster Musume, which actually was the things you describe.)

Does anyone think Killing Bites is massively over-rated on /a/? Like the hype has died now, but last year the threads were going like fucking wild-fire about how awesome and bloody it was and how it was totally DEEEEEEP and cool. Like the idea of people selling their bodies to be experimented on and turned into animal-mutants to fight gladiator battles is quite dystopian (its actually an idea I also had years before the manga was even started). However its such a background thing to the weird bloodlust, that is reminiscent of Berserk, yet does little to actually give proper motivations. The loss of limbs being trivially re-attached makes sense in the context of the technology, however it lacks the detail and struggle that a show like Evangelion had when an EVA gutted or tore apart the more humanoid Angels. The animal fact abilities are taken way too literally which makes it weird given the whole emphasis on biological closeness and belongs more in a show like Shiiton Gakuen than on Killing Bites.Over-all its just a spectacle of blood pinatas with animal features slapped in, and a shallow attempt at dystopian background added in.
The anime is slightly better because it adds in a lot of fluffy filler material that ironically fleshes it out a bit more.

There's also something odd I noticed. At the end of the final episode they rolled the list of participants in a 2016 crowdfunding, which suggests the series was crowdfunded. However the series is based on a webcomic series which apparently started in late 2018. So I have no idea if the crowdfunding is just for the animated series or for both.

I think a couple episodes got a fan sub. The anime is a sitcom about an aggressive ermine, Okojo-san/Kojopii-chan/Oyabun (boss)/Chuuchun/Okojo-banchou, that escapes a pet shop and is taken in by Haruka Tsuchiya, who is a tenant of the Shiawasesou apartments. Each episode contains two separate and complete stories, and after a while, the anime starts featuring stories from an alternate universe where the animals and humans of the series are members of a high school.

BNA is mediocre; the plot is garbage, even by anime standards. Some radical liberal chick decides she wants wolf dick and finds out she can be EVEN MORE OPPRESSED THAN SHE ALREADY IS! Cue save the world montage. Barf. The characters have barely any depth to them with the exception of the wolf guy and then he's basically Vegeta and the final boss is basically a caricature of the mustache twirling supervillain. The art is okay but that's about it's only saving grace.

Kemono Michi is pretty fun, the MC is in love with animals and understands them like a beast whisperer. The first episode has him take down an enemy wolf-man with scritches. Some of it is a bit generic and stuff, but the sheer hilarity of most of the show and the MC's disinterest in non-animals is a pretty fresh gag. Worth a watch for humor.
