Define Furry movie. For me, Funny Animal chars don't qualify; the animals/part-animals have to be reflective of human qualities in a serious way that's more than a gag.

You are Umasou/Delicious: Absolute A+ backgrounds and animations. Character design is a bit lacking. But it's a cute if a bit bitter sweet of an ending. Don't look up the garbage heap of a sequel.
One Stormy Night/Arashi no yoru ni: I remember it getting an english dub. I prefer the jap dub but the english dub isn't too bad. It's a fun story with some sweet character interaction. Plot falls apart a bit near the end but that's because it uses a cheap plot for needless last second drama even if I liked the editing of the resolution.
I could have sworn there where more weeb furfag shit but none of it's coming to mind that aren't TV shows.

The CGI was mostly really good for all the Pokemon, problem I had was the plotline was totally cheesy and generic and tropey to the most maximum fault. The cripple who created an entire dynasty of Pokemon+Human utopia, who is nearing the end of his life, wants to be merged with a Pokemon to extend his life forever? Wow. Wowee, gee, who could have expected that twist. The dad was the Pikachu all along? No way, dude.
More interestingly, I find it funny how the token minority inclusion ended up being secretly racist. The black kid was abandoned by his dad, kek. This happened with Cats too, all the black characters were portrayed as villains.

That's not what makes family guy bad tho, that's just your friends being morons.I agree that Simpsons was better, but Bojack Horseman is more of its own thing and came out way after either show, and thus could glean lessons on what to do and what not to do in their show.
Family guy had its moments but Simpsons is better for sure. That said, Seth has some good work outside of that, and the Orville is a shining example of that.

It's not stupid like Family Guy, but it has some of the same gag characters from his past shows and some of them are pain.
He always made allusions to bestiality and stuff in Family Guy, so I was disappointed not to find a sexy werewolf race or anthro dinosaurs or something I could eventually make porn of.

Hardly overbearing in my opinion considering that it is essentially side-banter and actually used in a very TNG-esque way (alien pheremones and customs).

Would probably be sued for ripping off caitians. The Krill are pretty cool IMO, and remind me of the Romulans with religious aspects.

I was playing devil's advocate somewhat, sorry bad life habit, I'm trying to break it off (the bitch comment was furry slang not intended mysoginy). I mean compared to Discovery, Orville is more entertaining. I just think Seth would do good focusing on his own creative direction because the rehashing from previous sci-fi or the desire to stay classic mirrors the blatant ripping off of other comedies by FG. That's why it's not being taken seriously outside cult following - it doesn't create any new impressions or help us see things in a new or more current way. I can see why some people would appreciate the lack of preachiness, but at the same time, highly personal real life lessons - in the context of comedy - can be powerful (I mean the type that can see past the nazi problem; remember that mega-cringe South Park episode on the War On Iraq?). The problem is just eventually these show attempts that just fall short of something amazing eventually wear us down as long-lived media consumers - the next incarnation is a little more spoiled and I give less a shit each new show. I even liked Stargate: Universe somewhat. Just make the perfect cast - with sexy anthros - the perfect sci-fi - we have the media technology - and you could make me so satisfied that I never have to watch another sci-fi again, I can just marathon its 21 seasons in a loop, I would pay full price for that, and I've pirated terabytes over vpn. I know someone can do it.
Seth? Maybe but he needs better drugs. His comedy also has an awkward moment fetish he could tone down, and at some point I even had the impression he tried to. I saw the old 1995 series Space: Above and Beyond, which often tried to pass off war movie-like lessons, but one I remember being highly reflective on reality, and that saves it into long-term memory. Seth could do that, but with the best special effects arsenal in the world. My hope is he can twist the show somewhere during its 3rd to 6th seasons, but judging from the most inventive comedy around [insert ad for veterantv.com], I'm not sure he has the balls to take the series to the next level, or maybe he doesn't want to make that commitment (of plot twists that guarantee a conclusion by season 5-7). If he said, "I just want to do something fun and enjoyable" that's fine too and I can respect that, but these days I only have so many man-t.v. hours to give, so I want to spend them on something of value and preferably funny but more specifically something meaningful. Basically anything that shows the potential for humankind to thrive free of the grip of religious servitude. Or just something inspiring, the way you can actually respect TNG as a show from some well thought-out episodes that make you take it seriously despite the in-your-face cheesiness and sometimes naivety. Whereas modern sci-fi is very gritty, TNG's naivety is maybe not completely off-base in that it might reflect human attitudes in a world cured of disease and where healthy synthehol is available everywhere, but people are so healthy they could be completely happy in their natural states and rarely need the effects of anything to help them reflect optimally. TNG was a cohesive package and what you might construe as flaws or out of date perceptions is sometimes more like optimism that goes with the vision of its universe. The Orville isn't there yet but I'm not pessimistic about it. Preferably something not too reliant on time travel. Don't have to kill too many people off but real consequences to the characters, complete reversals of characters. I want to care.

>he rehashing from previous sci-fi or the desire to stay classic mirrors the blatant ripping off of other comedies by FG. That's why it's not being taken seriously outside cult following
TBH While I get your point I also understand why Orville is like that. Like the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel, its not meant to be a completely new thing but instead aims to please based on bringing back old classics, with some newer twists. Its like Stranger Things Season 1, a big nostalgia-fest for people tired of post-modernist rubbish and overtly politicized trash.
>highly personal real life lessons - in the context of comedy - can be powerful
True, but I think that Orville manages to do this sometimes. For example the humor around Bortus's male-centric society. Both humor and serious moments abound and it is clearly a new topic (referencing modern transgender arguments for sure) which makes it interesting, if touchy.
As for the furries... that's not going to happen outside of maybe Season 3 of the Orville because big-production execs will wnat to use CGI and can't have a full blown furry for bullshit reasons, just like when Kirk was sleeping with 'Caitians' that looked like Neko-girls from anime.

I can't help but say that's wrong. Next Gen is a snore-fest because NOTHING interesting happens and it's all positive Socialist thinking. Yeah, there some neat concepts, like the holodeck, but those neat ideas are not exclusive to the series (Because of DS9 and VYGR). Everything Next Gen does was already laid already out (And done better) by TOS/TAS, DS9 shows how Federation society is and that it's all a sham, then the entire point of Enterprise is showing the naivety of humans in comparison to the rest of the galaxy and how they have to learn that they're NOT the center of the universe. Even VYGR doesn't really become digestible until they decide to throw the Federation rulebook out the window, with the episodes of it coming back (Like the Omega molecule episode) bringing things to a screeching halt.

TNG is an exploration of exploration itself and involves a more established federation. It has plenty of action after Season 2, certainly more than TOS had.
>muh socialism
Why are you even watching Star Trek. You do realize who Roddenberry is right?
>DS9 shows how Federation society is and that it's all a sham
Which is among the reasons DS9 is shit-talked... retconning the people we are rooting for into a falsity, which wrecks the entire narrative of a near-utopian space-travelling society. The other reasons being idiotically comedic holodeck episodes in the middle of a tense WAR plot and the injection of Babylon-5 levels of 'magick' into the plot.

They're pulling a Disney Live Action with Clifford the Big Red Dog now... bastards. They're just coloring and resizing a dog and green-screening it. And the gags are just going to be Airbud and Beethoven all over again

What furry movies would people want to watch in this day and age? Sonic proved itself successful where 2010s Disney-shit did not.

Anyone who admits to liking the Sonic movie is admitting to being QAnon/Trumptard/idiot
>but a white male did the redesign!
And still got it wrong, then defended doing it wrong. Typical of a beta white male though who will probably get his mediocre d-list career ruined by #metoo soon. Fucking up the source material because you think he controversy to sell tickets is a 😬retard movie- and it didn't work since the film barely made back it's production budget when movies have to make 3X-4X that amount to be considered a success.
>but BoP had to be beaten
Why? Because you're a bigot who prefers cocks?
>Jim Carrey!
Hasn't had a career in a long time. He's also an anti-vaxxer which makes him a terrorist.

>Anyone who admits to liking the Sonic movie is admitting to being QAnon/Trumptard/idiot
<hurr if you like a cheesy video-game movie because it's silly fun you're Trump.
I'm left-leaning and this take is idiotic as fuck, fucking reddit spacers
>And still got it wrong, then defended doing it wrong
<got it wrong
Majority says you're wrong
>Muh White male
Fuck off liberal
>Fucking up the source material
What source material? There is barely any plot in Sonic, unless you count the Sonic cartoon, which was very gritty and does not translate to Real Life well due to all the anthro characters. (not to mention that the Sonic film sets up the Eggman Robotnik character as he is usually - bald and overweight.
>the film barely made back it's production budget
The Budget for the film was $81–95 million... the Box office was $321 million - over 3x more than the budget
>BoP had to be beaten
Nobody ever fucking claimed this
>bigot
Feminists literally screamed about how Birds of Prey isn't for men, and then got mad nobody watched it. They're not bigots for watching something fun and ignoring cheap garbage with virtue signaling
>cocks
<in a kids movie with a healthy straight interracial relationship
Wow you're 😬retarded
>He's also an anti-vaxxer which makes him a terrorist
Cry harder sheep
>hasn't had a career
<hurr an inactive actor is bad!!!!

Y-you do realize the post isn't implicitly saying "sochulism baaaad!!!" it was a critique of the somewhat blandness compared to VOY or other Star Trek, due to it being very mindful of socio-economical developments and ideas for human future, somewhat forgetting the spectacle it was supposed to convey.

No, that was a book series popular in the mid-late 2000s. Also Warrior Cats hasn't been a popular thing on FA for a while now TBH.

Yeah I was just joking, but fanart of that Warrior Cats still get posted daily on FA, and I see it on YouTube all the time. Though haven't read it myself. There appears to be a newer youth book series similar in nature, but with foxes instead of cats, called "Foxcraft" but I don't think it's popular yet.

The author is sure crafty as a fox to keep pulling off such media successfully.
