Reddit moderators. It’s that simple. The “NO THREADS ABOUT QUESTIONS” rule destroys 100% of discussions because 100% of discussions start with a question. Nobody is clicking on a 500 post question thread where nothing is organized. This system was deliberately designed so the reddit moderators could get that much needed dopamine boost from clicking a button, and so they would have a monopoly on thread making. Every single thread is made by one of the two people who always have the same larp tone. They just want to announce how many useless words they learned to virtue signal.

The same is done on pol, nothing but dead ends, “just read this old ass book while we enslave you despite the fact that someone already summarized it!”. 99% of people eat it up because they dont want to deal with the actual battleground of life but they like to pretend like they are a warrior, like every single pro establishment faggot with ten attention whore tattoos who has saved zero people yet is decorated more than napoleon.

“We already have a thread” shut the fuck up, theres a thread made by a completely different person, even if thats you theres no way you have the same mindset now. This is either set up like a chatroom for free exchange of non status quo information or its a circle jerk for two people. You hate what I am saying because you are here with good intentions. Thats why you cant go one post without broadcasting every last detail about your cults take on everything. You arent ignorant to the fact that you are speaking to people from ten different languages with only your native tongue, you are exploiting chan culture for your ego.

Literally zero posts a day here and if you made a thread that just said “hey lets discuss this herb” you would show up to be like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH NOT THREAD WORTHY.

I just saw a post on 4chan advice where someone was asking for help at not being an attention whore. They admitted to doing things just like what I am saying. The majority of responses were encouraging con artist behavior, because thats what the “nu chan” is, redditors exploiting anonymity and the tendency for original users to be “abnormal” to be a bully to the opposition when they arent using them for attention.

You're a schizo, and you're misunderstanding the rule. The rule is there to ban shitty question threads like, "where can i find book 'A'" or "how do i shoot fireballs" or all useless shit like that. The board would get overrun by those. It's also there to make the OP put actual effort into his thread. Lets say he has a question about a certain herb like you said. All he has to do is ask his question about the herb and provide some information he has gathered himself about the herb or maybe his experience with the herb, thats it. The rule is there for quality control.
