It was the enlightenment and its attendent materialism that was hostile to magic and justified it with scripture. The only injunctions around magic actually in the bible are 'don't overdose yourself or others with psychedelics' and 'don't consort with evil spirits'. Those are both pretty solid guidelines when practicing magic. If you do them anyway, you'll find out why those are natural laws.

Externally (exoterically) Christianity and Gnosticism is about some savior, internally (esoterically) the churches know at the highest levels that their heritage is from their past Egyptian Rule, and Babylon, and Sumer before that (all of which have the holy solar disk; FFS, the Pope is dressed as Dagon - Fisher of Men). Such esoterica is upheld especially in the secret halls o the Catholic church and among some individuals / sects of Presbyterians (the latter study extrabiblical texts and rely on the living God within to interpret which scripture is divinely inspired, they see the scripture as a guide to their heritage and a path to God, not the be-all end-all dictate; Can God not change His mind?!).
If God is truly an everlasting being then why would anyone expect Him NOT to reveal Himself in religions older than Christianity? If God is truly an omnipresent being then why would He not reveal Himself in religions spread far and wide?
Ponder the following:
