I do cardio, lift, eat well, been getting 8 hours of sleep on consistent schedule, yet everyday I feel severe depression/despair from about 2-6 in the afternoon. It doesn’t matter if I’m working, at home, on vacation. It’s been this way for a long time. I tried every medication (the doctor ran out of options) and a variety of therapists. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I did experience some childhood trauma, which maybe messed up my brain. I don’t know.

The thing about the brain stimulators is they are expensive, so I want to research them first.

Don't take medications. Instead, start talking to yourself. Start observing your mind, enjoying it. Have fun with your own self, anon. Don't be so attached to feelings, at least the bad ones. Try picking up some music and drinking some coffee or mate while traveling in your mind. I'd recommend mate because you can drink a lot more of it, and also some electronic music (ISHOME is nice). I wouldn't recommend smoking if doing this, because it's much harder to drop than ingesting caffeine.

This is so strange to say, but the cure for depression is simply not having it. It may be hormonal, and you're following good steps, but you haven't solved the issue in your mind

Just to get it out of the way, but how often do you fap?

And on another note, it seems that you worst time is after lunch, I can comprehend that since I feel lethargic around this time as well, did you try relating it with something you been eating regularly?

Most lunches I eat a sandwich, usually turkey and baby carrots or celery. I usually just drink water. I avoid caffeine as I'm a really light sleeper.

I used to only have eggs for breakfast and I felt this way. But since I started working out more, I eat eggs, banana, toast with peanut butter, and protein shake.

I usually fap daily. I don't look at pornography. I am not proud of it, and just consider it a release. I would like to do so less.
