Pardon the fashion illiteracy, but whats some good options for stuff to cover the neck/chin?
I know turtlenecks are a good choice, also a fan of scarves but I feel a bit weird wearing the same type of clothing most the time and it can be a bit rough on hot days.

A scarf, also a coat if you can pull it off.
Why do you want to cover your neck?
>be a bit rough on hot days.
Anything covering your neck will be as well

I got mauled by a dog as a kid and got some fucked up scars of my neck, a few on my chin too. Don't like leaving it exposed since I'm sure people assume they're from something worse and get a bad impression of me.

Scarfs, coats and turtlenecks, other than that and you'll look rather autistic.
Guess you could just embrace it, if it makes you look intimidating then so be it, that has some perks, be proud of your scars nigga.

Less intimidating and more 'Oh god did he try to hang himself, is he ok?'
It's not exactly nice to meet people and have to regularly explain that I didn't try to kill myself and it was just a dog.

You could be a quiet and mysterious guy with a dark past. It can be quite an asset for larping.
But well i can't think of many clothes that would cover the neck and not look retarded at the same time, beyond what i mentioned already

collared shirts can cover some of the scarring, and buttoning them up all the way is trending, so get one with a high collar.

This is probably the best idea. Make up a decent lie. Covering your neck isn't the best in summer
