Serious question

Do you see hats making a comeback? and i mean proper hats not caps or beanies

I doubt it, most hats like a trillby or homburg look to much like a fedora which is now hard linked to neckbeards and bad genetics (faggot in my history class wears a fedora every day and the mere sight of the hat infuriates me) so there’s not much hope for a revival of those. Top hats are too antiquated, and other brimmed hats are synonymous with hipster faggotry, though if that’s your thing then I guess they’re currently popular. Ball caps are a shit in most cases and I can’t really think of any other style of hat that isn’t extremely antiquated or the essential item for some retarded group. Where I’m from cowboy hats are worn occasionally (usually only at events) and my dad has his on the dash of his truck at all times, but that’s obviously a cultural thing and wouldn’t work 98% of the time or with any fits posted here. Those cockney/Slav hats are somewhat popular and don’t look awful but I doubt I’d ever wear one.

So all in all I’d probably say not much of a chance.

Ya, but at the same time it'd take a couple rappers wearing something like the OP to make them somewhat popular

I've been seeing a lot of middle aged non-neckbeards wearing trilbys lately. just basic dad types in dad jeans and dad coats, but with a trilby on top

not sure if this bodes any better for hats than the neckbeard thing, but hey

I'd say they will eventually, but whether that will be in 10, 20, or 100 years I couldn't say.

>Ball caps are a shit in most cases

Ball caps are only popular because advertisers like how easy they are to brand.

if a designer takes that hat and gives it a modern remake it'd be pretty cool.

Don't know the purpose of it practically though.

Pic related was medieval chink then got a modern take with tech materials and it looks baller.

It'd still be pretty hard to pull off, hats are definitely not the thing that can be worn by itself
