How the fuck do you grow a beard that doesn't look like literal pubic hair?
Obviously I'm not Sam Hyde so pic related isn't me, but we have similar beards.
I've found that oils, shampoos and conditioners are all only very temporary solutions. Beard oil especially, I find that it only works for maybe 2 hours.

Not an option, I have horrendous injuries on my jaw from a childhood accident and the beard covers it.

This. I used to have a beard you could lose a badger in, and the only "beard care" required was basic personal grooming like combing it, washing it, etc. Honestly, things like the ability to grow a beard are mostly genetic.

it's genetic. you could try increasing your test levels and maybe it gets better. increased test will have an effect on your hairline though

Trim your beard. If it looks like pubes it's too long for you and you need to try and keep it consistent across your face. Shave your neck clean, keep the beard on your face but shorten it up. Let it grow slowly. Try that before trying any boutique nonsense.
