I spent 300-600, can’t remember, on this one made to order by Siki Im. I’ve worn it once or twice outside when it was really cold but not raining. Might wear it more when I move to a place where it is very cold and no one can see me. Even though I’m a 6’ white male with a decent face I can’t pull a poncho off and I don’t think anyone really can.

I have same problem. I can feel alright with poncho only if nobody sees me, but it seems that nobody cares in my region.

Many moons ago, I got a "poncho" pullover that was made in Mexico by actual Mexicans. It is made of acrylic fibers, from the local acrylicia plants in Mexico. I made the mistake of washing it in a washing machine and the fibers washed out and pilled like crazy. I used a pill shaver to sheer them off.
