I see it as another lever against freedoms, that's what it will be at the end. A lot of people are simply beyond saving. I've almost stopped bothering with it. Out of all of the people I've argued about this shit to, both online and off, only one token person finally admitted "You're right." to me. Just one. One is better than none, but it isn't enough. And maybe I wasn't entirely right, I do doubt that sometimes. I simply really only care about those who are either too young to know better, or otherwise those who do know better. Nah, don't trust this. For many people in west this life is very comfortable if you don't use your brain.
