On the left is my main rig, i5-3320m 12 gb ddr3 and a 1050. Runs windows 10 so i can actually play video games. To the right is my T430 duct taped to my wall, i bought it off ebay but something in the housing would make it short and turn on and off not receiving any inputs. but it worked out of the housing so i put it on my wall and now i have a native linux machine. using it for some C and Cpp coding and IRC. I have a soundbar constantly playing crystal castles or something alike.

That's a nice humble little setup, there. I have a laptop, and a server. I can hook up one extra monitor to the laptop, probably more to my server. I want to set up a home network type battelstation.

i just got another thinkpad to acc use as a laptop, a SL510 its shitty but gets the job done.

You can use a server to host a webserver for an IP camera. That's two birds, one stone. It's what I'm doing.
I even stuffed the ESP32-CAM in a dummy camera. I'm going to redo the project and find an IR/night time lens and reprogram the board.

Nice but even though it's a windows-machine, you don't need to use chrome and edge. Look for something that is not as sketchy. Ungoogled Chromium if theres an up to date version for windows. If not maybe brave or some soykaf. Everythings better than those 2.

t430 came off the wall i covered the motherboard in kapton tape and it stopped the shorting. but i fucked up the display.
got a free sl510 total pos but i just use it for irc webdev and coding.
saving up for a server rack right now to run webservers, tor node, vms etc. then gonna get a pixel 4a (need a new phone) ill be using grapheneOS. then ill get the $75 replacement for the t430 display.
