No.53897
I have yet to see this kind of thread uttered here, so I'll drop the question.
Tell me fellow anons; what is the music or unintelligible sounds that get you by?
What hums in the background while doing your own thing?
What sounds take you to the underground of a technocratic dystopia?

Invidio.us is another front-end for jewtube.
Alternatives for uploading with less fear of censorship are bitchute, D.Tube (pays you crypto too), and Real.Video which "was created by a former You Tube content provider who got booted off, and had the the money, and tech skills to start an alternative."

I'm probably the only one where who doesn't like synthwave
I do have a little /cyber/ play list though filled with stuff I can imagine playing in a little near future neo Tokyo bar. It's mostly citypop tbh. For some reason stuff like Zero 7 and Sneaker Pimps and Sade sound cyber to me so there's that in there too

No, I am not that fond of it either. Most of it is pretty banal and is severely lacking in musical depth.

These are really good. I open this thread because I thought it was about hi-fi audio, but turned out better.

As long as we manage to keep the board's vibe I'm all in. No pics here but current gear is a 30 year old Sony stack system (with the turntable) to which I plug a stereo 3.5mm to rca cable from my computer.
Pretty unassuming but the sound card can output 24bit 196khz audio so sounds pretty nice

I went digital a while ago. I used to have the analog signal but I managed to save an Onkyo theater system from a dumpster. Audio via HDMI, my next task is to bring an analog levels equalizer to the 21st century and convert it to digital - the only reason I bother to keep it around is because of its novel LED grid visualizer

Interesting. I wonder if it's worth the hassle, though. Since your device is likely a computer too, wouldn't it be more practical to eq at the software level?

Not always, I've used this particular EQ to drive guitar amps and monitors.
Also more lights and buttons to keep a cyber aesthetic. Software based EQ controlled by hardware peripherals is the idea. Hopefully I can expand the ranges and precision a little more. Thinking about it more, I can overhaul and take out the LED monitor and put an OLED bit matrix instead.
