I feel like there's an important bit of story in the first archive we lost in the fire, so, for future generations to understand and enjoy, and for scholars to understand a hundred years from now, I'd like to recount the story of how the first right-wing lolcow general of 8chan /cow/'s history was nearly ruined by one very angry, very pretentious sperg who thought he knew everything and he was the boss of everyone. This is the story of an outlaw politisperg, and a hotpocket ranger with a gay capcode on his posts.

Btw, I wanted to keep this short, but it's a long fucking story, so grab a snack or something, or just skim through it lazily. Just reply "lol what a fag" or "TL;DR fucking hotpocket beta bitch" and I'll know you read this far, and that'll be good enough.

Early in the very first Right-Wing Lolcow thread (on 8chan, previous versions of /cow/ had them) came an obnoxiously long post with a reaction image of a cartoon man snobbishly scowling as he cringed. This was the villain of our story, Politisperg Anon. His post bemoaned the fact that the thread would inevitably turn into a massive political argument that wasn't funny (keep in mind, HE was the one who started this) and how, and I quote "99% of all lolcows are left-wing."

Let me repeat that. This man genuinely believed "99% of all lolcows are left-wing." From the obvious ones like ADF, Robb and to an extent A-Log, to the dubious ones like Chris Chan and even James Mario. James fucking Mario, the buck-toothed kid with downs, was apparently a dirty left-winger zealot. That's how bizarre and mutated his world view is, PEOPLE WITH DOWN SYNDROME WHO JUST WANT TO PLAY MARIO AND GET TICKLED ARE LEFT-WING BECAUSE THEY AREN'T EXPLICITLY RIGHT-WING.

This wasn't the first time he'd done this. On pervious versions of /cow/ he'd derail threads arguing about politics, how the KKK were democrats and therefore all democrats were the KKK and how Chris was a dirty left-winger (which was grasping at straws before Chris went full SLGBTQ) and he'd scream and textwall anyone who told him that was a false equivalency. I tried to be nice and patient, pointing out that most lolcows, like most people, were moderate or apolitical on most issues. He SCOFFED at that idea, rejected it wholesale and insulted me for believing in such a ridiculous concept as "apoliticalism." It was clear to him: anything not explicitly right-wing was left-wing, meaning left-wing was nothing. In his mind, wanting state-enforced drag kid pagents at public schools was exactly the same as peeing on the side of the toilet so you don't make noise were the exact same thing.

The shitshow proper began shortly afterwards, with him getting into long, multi-paragraph arguments with people who tried to argue against his assinine ideas. I've seen the urge overtake stronger men than me: when you see some politisperging, the first instinct is to jump right in, hoping your awesome arguments will either make him concede to a middle-ground position or drive him away entirely. It never works. The thread was complete chaos, very wrinkley-brained people were tipping their fedoras, dubs were going unchecked, logical fallacies were getting name-dropped despite not actually being used, unadulterated horror.

I decided enough was enough, I banned Politisperg Anon, hoping that would be the end of it. No! The motherfucker CAME BACK. BAN EVADED. Didn't even make an "I'm back, bitches!" message. He got banned for not shutting up about politics and came right back to bitch about politics like nothing even happened. Imagine getting thrown out of a hotel for screaming at your wife and then coming right back in and screaming at her more about the same stupid shit, even as security was getting ready to curbstomp you. It was an act of cold defiance. A message that said "I will do whatever I want and not even acknowledge you."

I sighed with despair, took a bite of my Food Truck Bites Hot Pocket, spent twenty minutes on the toilet screaming, and as I was seeing sky sprites while straining my anus empty I had a Jimmy Neutron brain blast! "If he's doing this for (you)s and attention, why not just delete all of his posts?" So I did! All his posts, and all the posts replying to him, were gone. The thread had been saved! He returned with a screencap of his own posts, screaming about how the SJW mods couldn't handle the truth, and I deleted that too. Then he posted a screencap OF HIS SCREENCAP in the dedicated meta thread where declared that he would never post here again. The people rejoiced! The horror had ended.

The lesson of this story? If someone is posting bait because they're an attention whore, just delete all their shit and take their dopamine away. The other lesson is if someone has autism, they'll keep doing the same weird, stupid shit their brain keeps screaming at them to do, unable to resist the impulse or even understand it.
