As an indie slasher horror short film that has a little bit more world building and a better twist, it could be okay. As a Black Mirror episode, it's weak and out-of-place. It's a very good example of how the latter two seasons totally missed the point of the original pre-Netflix ones.
The first 2 seasons and the Christmas special depicted technology as something that developed faster than morals and society in general could catch up with. There was ambiguity in how the show handled the unforeseen consequences with rapid advancements in tech, just like how it is these days, by showing both the good and the bad and walking the line by the end. The title itself refers to this "reflection" with how things are while also referring to tech, by literally describing a blank glossy screen.
The rest of the seasons drops the ambiguity and starts off with 3 dystopian stories of just the bad aspects of tech. What follows is a very generic gay romance where the "tech" aspect of it was merely secondary, if not tertiary. The show became mostly black-and-white with its morality, bland/boring in its writing and much too predictable in its twists.
It, then, all culminates in the final episode which mostly rips off previous episodes Arguably, the one good part of it (the first story) they ripped off from someone else (Penn Jillette). while also being meta about referencing them and totally misrepresents what made the show interesting in the first place "[describe magically advanced technology] buuuuut…" just to make a poorly executed and very heavy-handed statement that you've already heard many times these days.
Unfortunate too, that it all went to shit before a /clang/ story could happen. S02E01 doesn't count, of course.

Here's some background on this artist I find pretty funny.
He got famous for drawing Minecraft porn, at the time he was just about the only person doing it competently. He was actually really talented, and got picked up by Hentai Foundry as a result. There's a very famous visionary artist called Alex Grey. You may have seen his work before, he does the covers for Tool's albums. He started art when he was basically a baby.
While these first two are primitive, he was ten when he painted them. By age 17 he was onto stuff like the third picture. Spoilered as not to ruin the surprise..
As a teen he did tons of drugs (which were legal at the time, people don't realize how recently hallucinogenics became outlawed, only in the 70s!), tripped really hard, converted to a weird spiritual religion and started drawing stuff based on that.
