913cae No.4311
Without giving too much detail, there's a low chance I will make it to May 2020. I don't know what to do.
My physical affairs are in order already, I don't have kids, I'm going to leave what I have to my parents

Be baptised and chrismated if you haven't already, confess your sins to a catholic priest and receive viaticum. Have faith and pray.

I do not have a discord. Thanks for the offer however

I'm not on my deathbed yet. I have some time to go before that.
I haven't attended a full mass in a while though, sometimes I go but I leave before I receive the Eucharist. It's too much for me, anything remotely related to death makes me uncomfortable.

Can you give us generals at least? If it's not medical, maybe we can help you and counsel you. We're anonymous and Christian, so gives us a little faith that we have your best interests at heart.
Don't listen to >>4318 , It's works salvation and it won't help your situation.
As for your question, assuming we're dealing with terminal medical reasons, I'd take care of affairs, give key passwords (email account, bank, PC, any ecryption), get a lawyer for a quick last will and testament, pray that your death will glorify God as your life (suicide does not glorify God in anyway period!) and your entrance to His holy city is smooth as possible.

It is medical.
I won't lie though, I am considering sudoku before I reach the hospice stage. I have seen people with my condition in hospice care
>passwords (email account, bank, PC, any ecryption), get a lawyer for a quick last will and testament
I'm going to put everything important to my family in an unencrypted external hard drive.
My main hard drives will remain encrypted, they can keep it and try to crack it far into the future if they want my anime collection that badly

>I won't lie though, I am considering sudoku
Remember it's neither your life to live or die, by Christ's.
I have seen people with my condition in hospice care
>anything remotely related to death makes me uncomfortable.
I know being fearful for death doesn't mean your not saved, but I would self-examine just to make sure that your faith is truly in Christ alone. Meditate on Scripture.
I'll be praying God's grace for you and your family.
Have you considered doing a light funeral or some eco burial. (((Funeral houses))) are notoriously exploitative.
"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised 1imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.
But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Cor. 15:51-58)

Don't sudoku. I hear the penalty for that is your soul is eternally trapped on Earth, unable to rest. On the bright side after you do die because of your condition you will have omniscience again, like you did before you were conceived.

Suicide is sin. Passive euthanasia is debatable on permissibility.

Ok, let me substantiate myself. I'm presuming you're the same poster with a different id.
>Superstition - a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation.
What you just articulated is a belief in an afterlife that is not only absent from scripture, but counter to it. The Bible says that it is appointed once for man to die and after that comes judgment. Those found unworthy are cast into the lake of fire, those worthy go to paradise.
You also said that the dead have omniscience, and that people exist and are omniscient before conception, counter to the Bible's teaching that life begins at conception.
The basis you provided was "I hear", a classic example of superstition, a belief with many followers but nebulous origins. If you claimed authority from the book of Mormon or some other text you would be a pagan, but that didn't happen.
Are you satisfied?

Solomon says we existed before our bodies.
>“Now I was a child of parts, and a good soul fell to my lot; Nay rather, being good, I came into a body undefiled.”
Wisdom 8:19-20
Spirits having omniscience is a Catholic (and maybe Orthodox) belief. The Orthodox see heaven and hell as different conditions after death not places, which I agree with. I disagree with the assertion that having beliefs from multiple sources is superstition.

Attend a Church of God church where they don't let pride get in the way of following through on New testament teachings and practices of coming to you and praying for you, the NT teaches us to call for the elders of the church to pray for the sick that they may recover. Of course using your wisdom and what God has given us with the medical help of our time, and knowledge. Surround yourself with people that love God, and are full of faith to pray for you and support you, I hope you can. Meditate on God's word in regards to faith, healing, a lot of the psalms address this and the four gospels. No one knows what the future holds for sure besides God, he said that he is near to the brokenhearted and he hears those that call on him in truth. If you haven't received him in a personal relationship, which has always been his heart and intent, that he died for (John 3:16) then pray in faith in his son Jesus to receive him. He loves you personally, he said he knows the numbers of hair on our head, meaning he knows us intimately. Hope you will be comforted in this time of your life and pray for your healing and peace and guidance.

If I found out I was dying from a terminal illness, spend my last days soaking up the new testament, outside of worldly influences, wrap me in a blanket and bury me, with a cross made of wood as my tomb stone, I couldn't care about having a million people at my funeral with eulogies about how "great" I was, because I wasn't.. I'm a Christian because I've lived 30 mortal years as a bad person

Why taking chances to hell if you actually met Jesus if you died naturally?
The risks is infinitely bigger than what you'd gain (let it all go a bit faster)
Also have you concluded what your life meant so far before the sweet release of death take you away indefintely?
