What would christian cyber punk life style look like?

Cyberpunk is a dystopia, a godless world where arrogant men try to become the Creator, transhumanism (creating intelligent beingss and/or fussing ourselves with machines) is luciferian.
A christian in a cyberpunk world would try to stay as noncyber as possible.

The ironic thing about transhumanism is it presents itself as forward thinking and evolutionary, yet in reality becoming a machine and falling more into materialism is regressive and is literal devolution.

Would use the concept of god as a motivator to advanced technology, make sacrifices for the ethnic group, practice eugenics, and dominate thier environment.
Christianity was that prior to the Industrial Revolution.

Amazing thread, OP. What a deep theological question.

I'll provide my thoughts.
Man is not merely bipartite, but also tripartite. We are both body and spirit, but we also possess a soul. "nephesh" in hebrew. breadth of life, lifeforce. I suspect the breadth of life brings life to our body and spirit. A cyberpunk future is a period of interest for me. would a fully prostetic body, including the brain, count as the body within our tripartite make-up? maybe it can, but maybe not. we do not know if a fully protestetic, including brain body is even possible to do, no matter how advanced we become in the distant future. however, will you even be alive at that point? if software can perfectly emulate/simulate hormones, elecitrical signals, then it's easier to make sense of it. if not, would we be in a state of bodily impoverishment as to make us unable to even think like a human?
i'm including a discord link here. it will work for 1 day. it's a server to vet anyone. please note, I'm not an anti-semite, nor a communist, nor an extremist. i subscribe to the divine council worldview which is most popular espoused by Michael heiser in recent years. this server is to vet people. I'm interested in finding like minded people who could potentially be friends and who are interested in unusual areas for christian interpretation and research

EDIT
I deleted my response just to say: it took me 7 attempts to complete the captcha…. the difficulty needs to be lowered.

If Ghost in the Shell-style cyberbrains were available, is there anything in scripture against hooking one up to your brain? It'd be awfully tempting to become superhuman.

Ngl human tripartition into body, soul and spirit sounds pretty gnostic to me, I don't like it.

There are already cases of biohacking/grinders and drugs so I don't think a moral/theological debate would be different on both cases.

but that is literally the language of the apostle Paul. I do not understand it as seperation between spirit and body. Please note, i'm theologizing. it;'s not a hill I'll die on. transhumanism makes me wary in part because of gnosticism as well as it being an attempt to achieve eschatological bodies without parousia, judgmenent, and resurrection. that tripartite formula is NOT meant to sound gnositc.

okay so I've thought about it further and realized if the brain is replaced then the you aren't alive anymore. If all there is is software and machinery then you've literally got a robot.

I kinda hate that I am making this comparison Since I like said universe and what I am about to say may be a little dumb-ish, but probably a christian version of warhammer 40k would fit the bill. So instead of a god emperor/omnissiah, its well…. probably like an uber-pope/antichrist? Mainly since what I have heard about that evil plan kinda goes that route. Genetic warping, travel relying on some twisted faith, cyborging/ literal robo-zombification depending on if someone buys into the antichrists plan involving augmentations hard enough. Though I dont know what you are exactly asking so I will leave it at that.

Alright so it's more complicated. the word used by paul is pysche which suggest mind-related. Tripartite view might be wrong or right, not sure.

I don't see anything immoral or unchristian about improving your brain through implants. It would serve the same purpose as reading a book to become more learned and capable or adding a pace-maker to improve the performance of a body part. You're just using what man has created to improve yourself. And how are you supposed to resist an implant if it can give you a hundred extra iq and perfect recall?
