On 8chan /christian/ was a good board for a while but then the Catholic mods started to ban people for no reasons and no serious interdenominational discussion was possible. For some time they were banning only Protestants they didn't like, but then they started to ban also the Orthos (who made their own /orthodox/ board) and just before 8chan was downed they began banning even some Catholics.
What is going to happen on 8kun? I have no idea. Right now I can see posts on /christian/ that would give you a permaban on 8chan (for example people mentioning /christianity/). Is this because the mods have changed? Or maybe this is because they are sleeping? We'll see.

I suppose it will be better to use this board instead of christchannel.xyz. Why? Well, because many people come to 8chan/8kun to read and post at useless and even bad boards, but then, by God's grace, then end at /christian(ity)/ and maybe become Christians. So we need to have an active and visible Christian board here.
I also think that we have to advertise christchannel.xyz to all participants of our board. In this way, when the next disaster happens and 8kun is closed, we will know the place we can move to. Before 8kun opened I didn't know about christchannel.xyz and I suppose that many people are like me.

The potential missionary effort isn't worth the temptation for some Christians to post here if you ask me, so it's good that there's a site without porn at all. There's also alleged glowie activity here and stability issues at both.
Either way, there should be only one Christian board on 8kun as long as our regulars are so few.

Hmm. You are correct. It didn't occur to me that the movement can go also in the opposite direction – from /christian(ity)/ to the other boards.
Nevertheless, random folks will come here all the time, while it will be unlikely to see many casual visitors at christchannel.xyz.

/christian/ is where disillusioned and/or bored Protestants go to LARP as Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox. /christianity/ is where smug Protestants go to s—post when they're not reading the Bible. Trying to have serious discussions about theology on the internet never works out well. I had to learn that the hard way. I'm still trying to unlearn all of the flawed meme theology I picked up from barely literate slavs and cholos online.
