Recently i've stumbled upon this individual's website

http://bibletranslation.ws/

And saw that he has many interesting and free things and tools like koine greek Gospels translated verse by verse side by side for example.

In fact i was looking for reading the original NT texts in their exat originals when i stumbled upon the website

But i'm interested, on a scale from 0 to 10 just how exactly reliable is he as a scholar and how much truth is there in his research of Scripture?

Also, is there such a thing as the complete readable Bible all written in original koine?

What are the specific manuscripts used in this case and where can i read more about it as well as this original you say exists?

I haven't heard of this guy so I couldn't attest to the translation. I don't see why you would follow him over professional translators.

The complete Bible wasn't originally written in koine Greek, only the new testament. Seminary students all have to buy a gnt. The manuscripts used depends on the publisher, the Nestle aland is popular.

Im confused now. So which historically found texts are the first originals and which are the ones upon which modern orthodox bibles are based on? What is so special about Nestle aland and what if they themselves interpolate and modify the original text.

I want to read Scripture in it's most purest form and not a translation of a translation which is modified arbitrarily by obscure interests of men.

Every translation is from the original language into your language. Translations of translations are never produced.

The OT was written in Hebrew. The NT was written in Greek. There are also a couple Aramaic phrases in the Bible.

No original manuscripts exist. Copy manuscripts are discovered over time and scholars debate about what to do with the minor differences found throughout. The biggest camps are textus receptus vs majority text.

You can safely pick up any Greek new testament and hold the word of God in it's original language. Your personal inability to perfectly translate it would be a bigger concern than any manuscript debate.

Also there's nothing impure about reading a Bible translation, someone has already done the legwork to make scripture readable to you. At all times you can pull out a concordance and consult the footnotes or commentators

I've been reading the Septuagint and would like to know why Nod in every Greek dictionary translates to Yes?

>16. And Cain came out of the face of God and dwelt in the land of Yes, opposite the land of Eden.

Yes but it's not the same. Translations dilute the original meaning very much which i why i prefer the original rather than the copy. Is there at least any manuscript of the OT or the NT in the original languages? Like Hebrew for OT and Aramaic for NT?

>NT original language is Koine Greek. OT is mixed, but mostly Hebrew. You can get them. I personally use a Green's Interlinear Bible with an original Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. You can also get Jewish Tanakh's that have the original Hebrew side by side with their English translation. While not actually scripture, I have a copy of The Apostolic Fathers with the original language (mostly Koine Greek, but also a little Latin and Syriac) on one page, and English on the facing page. This stuff is definitely out there, just just have to take a few seconds to google it.

>I highly recommend Strong's. It lets you go back to the original language even if all you have is a KJV bible. Go with the original Strong's, not the "Strong's New…" It's been f—ed with by nefarious types (pic related.)

I'm getting errors. I hoping this doesn't double or trople post. If so, my apologies.
