Definitely, but do NOT stop there and assume a woman will make a good wife just because she is a virgin. Big mistake. We all know the statistics surrounding partner count and divorce rates, happiness etc. But please be aware there are special cases with these things because the world is largely categorized by statistical distributions, not black and white cases. There are cases where a virgin may make a worse wife than a woman who has slept with a couple of men - I know people hate hearing this sort of thing but its true, and I have even seen it irl.

The first thing you need to do is make sure she is a genuine Christian and seeking the Lord with all her heart. This should be the first filter, and then you can investigate her other characteristics. But generally speaking yes, a woman who is a virgin is preferable to marry for all the obvious and practical reasons, but if you yourself have lived a sexually immoral lifestyle in the past, do not get mad that a potential wife has done the same and behave in an entitled manner, it is hypocritical.

At the same time, how many men, on this board alone, even if they are physically/technically "virgins", can say with a straight face that they have not committed adultery or fornication in their hearts? The thing is, maybe in our mortal eyes, there is a difference, but in God's eyes there is none, as Matthew 5: 27-28 points out. God judges our hearts and inner motivations, rather than just our actions. When one masturbates, they ultimately are sub-communicating to God that the only thing holding them back from actual fornication with a woman is either fear, incompetence, laziness, or some combination of the aforementioned.

Obviously, you shouldn't just get with an unrepentant promiscuous woman, but we are to be merciful as our Father in Heaven is merciful: Matthew 18:21-35. If you've been lustful in the past, and a woman has sincerely repented from being lustful, and you turn up your nose at her, you're being a hypocrite.

And thanks be to our Lord Jesus Christ that through him we can be justified and sanctified. No stain of sin, whatsoever, not even so called "minor" sins are allowed into Heaven and God's presence period. It doesn't matter if you're a serial killer, or tell little lies. One sin that is not repented/covered, and that's it. Game Over. Forever. We must be perfect, just as our Father in heaven is perfect; which is literally an impossible task without the sacrifice, mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why are you even here? This is a Christian board. There is no "god of the new testament". There is God. Only one. He did not change.

Neither lust nor sex are sins. Lusting after someone's wife is specifically equated to actually committing adultery. Lust for your own wife isn't a sin, it is good. Read the song of songs.
