Ten Minute Bible Hour on youtube just released a new video in his series where he visits a church of a different denomination and speaks with the pastor there. This time he's at a Roman Catholic cathedral in Salt Lake City.
He's a mainstream evangelical, probably baptist. He has youtuber personality. He's probably going to politely treat everything as very impressive and not push back on any theological claims of the priest there.

There's allegedly a bone fragment of Mary Magdalene, and a fragment of the real cross of Jesus there at the cathedral. The priest seemed to recognize this is a pretty fantastic claim and didn't even try to defend their authenticity, he just kind of gave the answer he's supposed to give.

Yeah, I can tell. I know "that" type of Christian very well. They all look and dress the same. They talk and act a certain way where you just KNOW in 5-10 years they're going to come out as gay, or say that LGBT is to be accepted in the church, or else announce that they're leaving the faith entirely.

Yep, I know what you mean. Difficult to describe, but you know them when you meet them. All about themselves and their own image, exuding some kind of aura of trying to be cool, or deep, or profound, but it's about them, not Christ. I think the best way to describe them is "childish?" I call them California Christians.

Many much more recent historical relics don't have a very good record of who had them in their possession and for how long, and that's certainly a far cry from relics which would have been collected by the repressed cult of Christ in antiquity. All you can do is either accept it on faith or not.

I really enjoyed the one he did with the Orthodox fella. This one was a bit less "impactful" to me than his sit down with the Orthodox pastor. It felt the whole time like the Catholic Priest was almost being disingenuous with some of his answers or explanations, like he was afraid to say "I don't know" whereas the Orthodox guy was perfectly comfortable to admit he didn't have all the answers. I don't mean to make this an anti-Catholic post because things are pretty heated especially on this board towards them, but its my honest thoughts on it.
