I present to you an article (a 60-minute read) that clearly and thoughtfully argues against branding homosexuals as sinners and homosexuality as a sin. The article explains why homosexuality has never been, and is not, a sin. One of the main reasons for this misunderstanding is a superficial reading of the issue.
Step by step, the article explains why the book of Leviticus cannot be considered a source of truth (TL;DR: God Himself said through the prophet Jeremiah that He did not command what is written in Leviticus; certain precepts of this book directly contradict Christianity and Christ, such as the command regarding blasphemy). Consequently, relying on this book to interpret the Divine will is a mistake. Thus, Paul’s assumptions that gay men will not enter the Kingdom are erroneous, as they are based on Leviticus or are merely his personal convictions. One should not view Paul's letters as divinely inspired from the first to the very last letter, since he himself states (1 Cor. 7:10) that his teaching is his own, not the Lord's, and some of his precepts are not mandatory rules, but merely advice (1 Cor. 7:6). Ultimately, Christianity is the religion of Christ, not of the apostles; Christians follow Christ, not the apostles.
