I don't understand. When I was a child my mother always made me brush my teeth before breakfast and as a result it would taste repulsive, especially the orange juice. I always asked if I could brush my teeth after breakfast and she would yell at me and tell me I'd just forget.

I know this feel, but I still do it out of habit (and I only drink water now so I don't get that disgusting toothpaste+juice taste). Just feels easier to do all the bathroom stuff in one go, rather than going to the toilet, going downstairs for breakfast, then going back to the bathroom to brush my teeth. On the rare occasion I forget to brush them before breakfast, it's really annoying when someone else jumps in the bathroom after me, and then I have to have a gross mouth until they're finished.
Strangely, whenever I was at my dad's, he only ever made us brush our teeth before bed, but never in the morning, and my mum would only make us do it in the morning. Now I'm older I do both, but for a long time it just depended on who's house I was at.

I saw it at the cinema when it came out, I thought it was alright. I think the visuals still hold up, if anything it looks better than I remember. Can't say the same for older CGI films, most of the mid-90s to early-00s films (that looked amazing at the time) look a bit shit today.

I just headed round to Spar for a bottle of milk, on my way back a little old woman in her driveway called out to me, although her voice was so weak it could only generously be described as a 'call'. She was feeling dizzy and needed help clipping her hoover's power cable back into place because she didn't have the strength in her fingers to pinch the clip open. She said "Thanks son, I needed it clipped on otherwise I'd trip over it carrying it back upstairs", so I asked her if she wanted me to take it back upstairs for her. She hesitated for a moment then said "No thanks, I'll just sit on the step for a minute to get my breath back then I'll be ok.".
It makes me sad that our society has become such shit that a little old lady is too scared to ask a stranger for help without fear of being robbed/attacked. I don't even live in a (((diverse))) area, either.

Firstly, I didn't say I liked it, I said I thought it was alright when I saw it at the pictures 13.5 years ago, aged 12. Secondly, every film is a product of its time. Some end up more timeless than others based on advances in technology, how many pop culture references are used/abused, how much societal standards have changed, etc., but the large majority of films end up dated in one way or another regardless.
The fact that children of today might not understand the references in films of the past is a silly criticism. Cultural references generally go over children's heads until they're at least in their teens. The references included in these films are to entertain the parents, not the kids. Promoting the film with "Rose Royce - Car Wash", making references to The Godfather and other bits of popular culture, and so on, was to appeal to the mums and dads. Children like bright colours, action sequences, silly faces, slapstick comedy, and toilet humour, and I'm fairly sure Shark Tale has all of that in there for them, but it's ultimately the parents who are buying the tickets, and they're less inclined to take kids to see films that are purely created to entertain kids.
Knocking a film because it cast big-name actors/celebrities, who were part of the zeitgeist of their time but aren't necessarily relevant any more, is utterly ridiculous. In other big-budget animated films alone:

Even going much further back:

All of these were big names at the time, and even if they weren't the best actors for the role, they definitely helped bring people in to see it. Will Smith, Renée Zellweger, Angelina Jolie, Robert De Niro, etc. were hot shit at the time of Shark Tale being produced. Casting them massively boosted the draw of the film, and I can't knock them for doing that one bit. It comes off as a cheap marketing ploy in a lot of cases, or even as cronyism, but that's just Hollywood for you. It's not something you could single this film out specifically for doing, because the majority of other Hollywood films do it, and it's been done since the beginning of cinema. Hell, even in the days of stage and theatre.
Regarding the visuals, you said yourself it's on par with any other CGI film of the day, so I don't see how that's even a criticism. I think most CGI films from 2003 onwards fare far better than the borderline uncanny valley stuff that came before them. The CGI in Shrek looks horrid, everything Pixar made before Finding Nemo looks like someone's first day in Blender, and Toy Story in high definition makes me feel ill just looking at it.
Shark Tale isn't the best film of all time, even back then I wouldn't have said I liked it a lot, but it's far from the worst. I think your hatred for it is largely irrational, unlike my criticisms of [the music you like], which is 100% objective, unbiased, and factual.

I'm not defending the film, I'm saying the criticisms you brought up regarding it are retarded. Nobody would argue that Shark Tale is in anyway a great film, or even worth watching today, and I certainly didn't, the best praise I gave it was that it still holds up visually unlike older CGI films. Whether or not it was a quick way to profit off Finding Nemo is debatable, as it's production started long before that film was out, and they already had a history of producing films with very similar subject matters concurrently (Antz and A Bug's Life, both highly rated by critics, but were released around the same time in 1998 because Disney wanted to fuck them over).

Morning lads, I've actually been up since around 10, and I'm dressed and showered which is rare before midday on weekends, especially Sundays. Could have done with going to bed earlier than the 1:30 I did last night, but I can't really complain.

The proper way to do it, at least if you're not a nigger, is to release it under the original "artist - title" name, and put (DJ Faggot Remix) or (SoyBoyz Re-Edit) at the end, so people can look up the original and see how much of it was actually made by you. I'm not an expert, but I've read a few things here and there. The ponzi scheme economy is a big red flag, and everything about the country screams "bubble" to me. I've read that large portions of the investments being made are from Chinese people being forced to take out loans to do so. I don't think it's sustainable in the slightest, I think the money will run out / massively devalue in the near future, the economy will tank, social issues will take a turn for the worse, and it's going to be a complete shitshow.

Do you live alone, and do you ever cook for yourself? I still think the problem might be due to contamination of your kitchen/fridge, which could be why the food poisoning has lasted so long. Main culprit is obviously raw meats, but even things like eggs, cheeses, and vegetables can give you food poisoning if they're not properly stored/washed/prepared/etc. Make sure you never store raw food near or above cooked food, always thoroughly wash your hands and clean your kitchen surfaces before and after cooking, and don't use the same chopping board you use for raw meat for anything else. Be careful with utensils as well, you don't want to forget that you used a pair of scissors to open something containing raw meat, and then neglect to wash them afterwards.

I'm gonna be doing more on my drum machine, over the last couple of days I built the bass drum and snare drum sections, and last night I received my crimp tool so I could finally make the cables to connect the two boards. After making them, I chucked all the ICs in, hooked everything up into the case, and tested to see if I could get any sound out of it. It actually worked, it sounded mostly how it should, except there's clearly some sort of ground loop causing a hum and bleeding all the individual outputs together. I'm pretty sure it's because I haven't built the master output section, which I now see supplies a common ground to all the other audio outputs. I'm also not getting any sound out of the white/pink noise generator, but I don't really know what's going on there other than maybe there's a duff transistor or op amp.

Thanks lad, yeah I definitely dived into the deep end by taking this on as my first real electronics project, but I'm faring better than I expected. I've only destroyed one component so far, and that was only because whoever packed it didn't label the packet to say it contained multiple different types of transistors. I wrongly assumed that they were all the same as the first one I looked at, and I only noticed I'd picked out the wrong type after I'd already soldered it. It was a bit of nightmare to get out, had to cut the leads to desolder it, rather than run the risk of damaging the board by attempting to get a £1 component out in one piece.

Don't know about phones, but I'm loving the USB-C connection on my 8bitdo SF30 Pro controller. It's pretty much impossible for it to fall out, in fact it's way sturdier than any USB 2.0 Micro-B connection I've ever used. I fucking hated Micro-B with a passion, it was worse than USB 2.0 Mini-B in every single way. I've lost count of how many cables and sockets I've had wear out on me after minimal usage since it became widely adopted. I was basically forced to buy a bluetooth adapter to use my dualshock 4 controller (uses Micro-B) reliably with my PC, because after a couple of weeks it would knacker any and all cables I used for it, and it would constantly disconnect while using it, which was never a problem with the many sixaxis/dualshock 3 controllers I used heavily over the years (used Mini-B). Good riddance I say, USB-C is an absolute joy in comparison.

Fixed the hum and the white noise generator problem today, the hum was solved by building and connecting the master section as I predicted, and the noise problem was solved by me realising the noise generator uses the same PSU bus as the Low Tom, which I hadn't built yet. I put the 4 necessary components in, and it came alive. Still have a minor problem with the noise being a little too loud even after using the gain adjustment pot, but that's a problem for another day. Goodnight guys.

A shitload of my calories and protein seems to come from cottage cheese that I usually stuff into a tortilla wrap with super spicy habanero sauce and spinach, sometimes I'll add tuna. I've been managing to eat that much quite easily though.

Pretty bad mate, yesterday morning I weighed my intended small 75mg dose of MDMA into ten times that - overdose territory - because I'm a spaz. I heard low doses can be therapeutic and help with depression, I just wanted to feel good smh. I ended up going to A&E and accepted that I could quite realistically die in the ambulance: my heart was racing above 180, my temperature rising, my vision blurred. I made peace with the universe and accepted my potential self-removal from the gene pool. It felt strangely liberating. At that moment of acceptance I also saw a beautiful bright light which I think might have been God. This all helped me get back control of my breathing and calmed me down a bit. I realized I wasn't going to die, and spent two hours in a hospital bed before I discharged myself, being unable to suffer the seemingly endless supply of smug pajeet """doctors""" who didn't know the first fucking thing about the drug and condescending f*male nurses. All of the aforementioned side effects wore off after about an hour and the rest of the trip was very intense but enjoyable, but not at all worth the comedown I'm experiencing now and will probably be experiencing for at least a week. This all started about 32 hours and I feel like a bit of a silly bugger tbh.

I went to pick up my curry last night and there were about 10 highschool kids all on bicycles on this small stretch of road. I tackle things one bar at a time, first I'll pick out the most obvious notes like the melody and the bassline, then I'll listen closely for any harmonies in between, then I'll switch between the original and my version to check that it all matches. It's not something I was just able to do, it took years of practice to get to the point where I can transcribe almost anything by ear, and it was largely out of my own stubbornness. I didn't want to learn to play other people's music because I felt like that was a job for CD players, I couldn't be arsed to learn to read music notation because I thought it was stupid, and a lot of the time I found that other people's tabs and MIDI files sounded nothing like the originals. However, I really wanted to be able to remix things by recreating the individual components from scratch and have it sound as accurate and indistinguishable as possible, and I also wanted to know what other composers/producers were doing musically so I could use the same techniques in my own productions. With practice, I got very good at seperating out each instrument and each note in my head while listening to music, rather than just hearing a single clusterfuck of noise like I used to.

A true government run and elected by the people, to serve no one but the people. Kind of like a company where if the public dislikes something, they boycott. The people should be able to defend themselves because police can't get everywhere instantly, but this does not pose a huge risk to safety as normal people don't just get guns and kill everyone.
Absolutely no restrictions on speech or ideals; if someone wants to promote comunism and the people like the idea, the government should change to that. Society should have the ultimate say. Just read this and found it very interesting. This was around about the reason I wanted to study psychology at university, which I may do in a few years. I'm super self aware which causes anxiety, and my mind races at 100mph all the time which makes me obsessed with stuff, anxious about things and tired.
I am passionate about psychology because it is so interesting, I think about it a lot of the day. I think I could excel in this which is why I rant and make ridiculous and unorganised posts all the time. Probably will look more into that article/site/whatever it is to find out more until I go to sleep.

Also "cure" is the wrong word, it would likely work the same way as rehabilitation for addictions, where you're never really "cured", but you find ways to cope with your demons and live without succumbing to your former urges that will decrease in severity over time.
