My household is similar, my mum is always kicking off and having a go, except instead of being at me, it's with her boyfriend. She is fairly irrational, and awful at conveying what she's trying to say (talking to her is a bit like solving a jigsaw puzzle with half the pieces missing, you have to fill in the gaps yourself), while her boyfriend is too thick to pick up on anything that isn't spelled out to him in an infantile fashion (requiring great patience and having to talk to him a bit like a child), so they both get very frustrated and heated with each other very quickly.

I often get dragged into it because they think if they can get me to agree with them, then they've won the "argument". They cannot go a day without kicking off about something, or even an hour some days. From what I can gather, the only reason they've stayed together this long is because she feels sorry for him (he grew up in a children's home, although I'm pretty sure he actually had a happier childhood than my mum), and because he gives her money.

It's definitely the number one reason why I'd ever want to leave, it was easy for my sister because she's always had boyfriends she could live with, but I've been stuck in the middle of this neverending row for the last 7 years, and probably will be for many more to come.

I used to, I was constantly going between constipation and extremely painful diarrhoea for several years. I was always missing college and going up the doctors with my mum to have blood tests and things. Played "My Summer Car" the other day, it was fun but also frustrating. It's a car building game but also an "open world survival" game, and you play a rural spurdo spärde lad who's parents have gone on holiday and left you with fuck all, so the first thing you have to do is pack your dad's van and rush off to the shops to get a shitload of supplies. The problem is, it's literally a couple of miles away, and the roads to get there are treacherous in the day, and lethal at night. I must have died about 4 or 5 times just trying to get there and back before I'd even touched the car parts.

Then there's building the car itself, which is pretty much impossible without a walkthrough, but not too difficult once you know what it is you need to do. Once I finished, and was amazed it worked at all, I took it out for a drive, the halfshafts fell off because I forgot to bolt them properly, fixed that, but it still steers like a boat. So the task then is to take it to the mechanic or something I guess, but trying to drive on those roads with a car that barely turns is just a recipe for certain death, so that's as far as I've gotten.

Nah, that would be reserved for shit like grand strategy games or business sims. It's not the best game in the world, it's kind of ugly, buggy, and unfinished, but the whole "try to survive in a rural setting with nothing but a few shitty old vehicle while trying to build, fine tune, maintain, and customise your own shitty old vehicle" is quite fun.

Things will happen like running out of petrol or something else you need, so you pack your van with a jerrycan, some sausages, a crate of beer, a torch, and maybe the backseat from your car to sleep on if you need to sleep, then head off on a long trip to the shop. Or your car might break down in the middle of nowhere, so you can hitch a ride back home or somewhere nearby because the AI is godawful, grab your tractor or the big truck, then head back to the car and try to tow it back home without completely destroying it.

There's a large amount of freedom to do things however you like without being forced to do things the way the game wants you to, which I enjoy, it's just a little too buggy and unfinished, and an in-game build manual has yet to be implemented. It's clearly going for a "Postal 2" vibe too, you can swear, middle finger, urinate, smoke, etc., and it's got that same style of humour. There are random drunk Finns roaming around or just lying in the street, there's a couple of boy racers near the shop/pub doing drifts and donuts and calling you a faggot, things like that. It's as if the game came straight out of the early-mid 00s, and I like that.

I was hit by a car today. The retarded man who usually pushes trolleys was still off so I was doing it again, I was pushing a big stack across the road and a lady in a mini cooper turned left quickly and obviously didn't see me. I know you like to convince yourself this in order to justify your NEEThood, but it's really not true. I can confirm that the job market in my area is pretty grim. I only had agency shit work for 5 years (0 hour contracts are Great™) until I landed lucky and one of my many asda applications were actually responded to and I got my job at the warehouse in 2014.

It's actually a pretty decent job all things considered; pays £11 odds an hour, plenty of overtime available, 10% discount at the shop (20% off occasionally during specials), I keep in decent shape for a lazy cunt since it's quite physical, and it has a good sharesave scheme.
