Today is just terrible. The person I give a lift home from work forgot his keys, he asked if I could give him a lift to his wife's restaurant so he could pick a pair up. I agreed since he gave me a crate of beer last week to say thankyou for the other lifts.

Just finished setting up the basics of my sorcerer build, grabbed myself an extra set of soul arrows and a set of heavy soul arrows, and put some points into dex, int, end and vit. Kek, probably on here alone. I've been here since late last year and I've seen it mentioned more than a few times. I don't have any sources to hand but from what I've read I believe it to be a mental illness rather than an actual discernible bodily malfunction like say a club foot or something. Whether it can be cured by drugs or psychotherapy I do not know though. I don't believe mutilation to be a cure.
I will say one thing though. The NHS page on Gender dysphoria doesn't mention anything neurological regarding brains developing differently. In fact its definition of the condition is characterized solely by the "feelings" and "desires" of the sufferer and their "insistence" in their belief that they are a different gender. At the same time they refuse to call it a mental illness.
To me, the fact that the largest medical organisation in the world(?) is being wishy washy about an actual medical condition and not calling a spade a spade tells me a few things. That either not enough research has been done, or that research is clearly contradictory. I also don't need to tell you the political aspect to this whole issue.
I don't see how any treatment as severe as hormones and surgery could ever be justified under these circumstances.
I don't hold anything against you and I can't exactly judge your own medical history because I'm not a doctor and I know nothing about you. I just wish politics would stay out of medicine. It's like fucking poison.

I'm gonna be honest, the NHS page is pretty shit, but then it had been for most things I've looked at on there, it's very generalised simple stuff for the masses, and probably politically influenced too, you're not wrong there.
We do know that if it's true gender dysphoria it can't be cured by therapy or drugs, both those things have been tried, and they do work for some people, who, now that the restrictions have been relaxed are probably slipping through, but those people are not dysphoric.
Hormone and surgery treatments are justified because they work. Not completely, but they're the best we've got right now. Pre-medical transition the suicide attempt rate is close to 50%, post it's 10%. The general population is at 2%, so it's clear there's still issues, some of that will be society, but some of that is probably because the surgery isn't perfect, like you say, it's mutilation. But I would rather live as a mutilated frankenstines monster than as a woman, and if there was some way to fix my brain so that I didn't want that then I would have taken it in a heartbeat, but there isn't, so it was mutilation or death.
I'll see if I can pull up the research on it being neurological, it's still in progress, but there is some real evidence that points towards it being the case.

so the raids are released in stages like a normal progression server (nost).
items in game were also released in progression, with patchs between raids adding new items or updating the stats. On kronos 1 all items are in and they have post-naxx stats despite the raid progression not being at AQ yet. Silithus dailies are rep quests with raid loot tier rewards, these are not supposed to be added to the game before AQ. Additionally all the T0.5 quests (that upgrade T0 dungeon set) are supposed to be released just before naxx, but they are in game on kronos 1 as well.
The impact this has is that the quest rewards are often better pieces than some of the MC loot. It fucks with preraid and the general pacing of the progression.

I hate it so much, because of the bus journey I have to leave my house an hour before my shift even starts, and when I get there I know it's going to be shit.
It's like groundhog day. They always send us too much stock, and never send us stuff we need, the same shit music plays every day over the store speakers, some fucker always asks me where the faggots are. Doesnt help that we're understaffed, the whole store is understaffed but the freezers are the worst. There's supposed to be four of us, but one of them is off because being a wageslave has driven him to alcoholism and apparently will be back "In a few months" and the other guy has moved to saturdays only, and instead of replacing him they've just given us more hours.
I only do 22 hours and I feel exhausted all the time outside of work. I can't imagine what it's like working more. I told them I didn't want to do any more than 15 when I started too, then they crept it up to 18, and now 22.
I know it doesn't sound much hours wise, but its the difference between working 3 days a week and 4, and those 3 were relatively short shifts (5 hours) so they weren't that tiring.

The issue (I think) is that he wants the first week of april (1st-7th) off, which would be the friday, but his workplace thinks he means the first of their weeks in april (starting the 3rd)
His way, he gets 11 days off in a row, by taking off the 3 days between his regular days off. Their way, he gets his regular 4 off, comes in one day then has 7 off.
Splitting the time off makes it seem so much shorter.

I've made phenomenal progress with my shoulder. This time last year I was thinking I'd be an invalid for the rest of my life because it was so fragile and injury prone; even small things like throwing a ball for my dog would cause massive flare ups and render me incapable of even minor exertion for days at a time. I used to binge when I was younger. The worst I've ever been was waking up in a pile of sick on my couch. I was so pissed still I honestly didn't know where I was. I though I was still in the bar.
I must have puked while I was asleep because there was a huge blob leading straight to my mouth and then all over the floor. I later found out I'd puked all over my room too. I spent the rest of the entire day puking until there was nothing left. Then I just couldn't stop dry heaving.
I've not really touched the stuff since. My brothers were a lot worse than me when they were younger too.
