I've had a pretty good day so far. I've had a shower and shave, changed my bedsheets, and emptied the dishwasher. For breakfast I tried porridge for the first time in years, and it wasn't bad. For lunch, I had a chicken & lettuce sandwich with salad cream, along with a few prunes.

It was sunny with a few clouds earlier, but it's started pissing it down since I began typing. It's still sunny and bright though, weird weather.

>I'm going to do some tidying in my room today also.

That's one thing I've been putting off for a long time.

My room was redecorated two and a bit years ago, and some things got put into boxes. I still have those boxes sitting on the other side of the room with the stuff in it, and now with several layers of other stuff all over it. About a third of my room is inaccessible due to the ridiculous amount of "stuff" being everywhere. There's no room for any of it, but I don't really want to get rid of it either.

I can't even get to the box any more, is what I meant. I can barely even see it because there's a bag of wires, a rucksack, and a theremin on top of it, and an oscilloscope, two old computers, several boxes of more stuff, a metal case that isn't even mine, and an old slipper in front of it. Underneath that box is a box a records I believe, but I haven't seen them for a while.

That's just one small part of the mess in that area too, I've also got a pair of turntables and a mixer buried under literal towers of stuff. I don't even want to go over there, it's too much.

It's actually been at least three times as bad as this in the past believe it or not, when I was full on hikki.

But I don't want to get rid of any of it. I've already got enough money that isn't being used at the moment, I don't need any more, especially at the expense of items I'm glad to own.

My room just isn't large enough to contain it all, even with a wardrobe in the wall, 6 shelves, 2 desks, 4 sets of drawers, a homemade shelf trolley, and one of those beds you can lift up and put stuff inside. Even with all this there's just not enough places to put all my stuff. Curse me for having too many indoor hobbies.

I bought a parka that I really like the other day, and I actually got to wear it out today as it was a bit chilly when I left the house. I've been boiling all day, and I found it super comfy.

I can't spend too long in shops, I feel like the people who work there are getting bothered by me. (I work in a supermarket and constantly wish people weren't in my aisle.) So I tend to just get a hot chocolate and sit in a café most of the time, it's just nice to be in a different surrounding.

Yeah, iktf. I usually travel from shop to shop and try not to spend more than half an hour in any one place because of that reason. There's a cafe in the upper level of a bookshop I quite like, I often spend time there if I'm not busy.

Music production

DJing obviously not so much recently

Audio tech in general, and numerous instruments

Computers

Electronics

Vidya I have a PC, PS1, PS2, PS3, GameCube, Wii, a 42" LCD TV and a 14" CRT TV, not to mention the countless controllers and other peripherals

And all of the shit for each of these hobbies is crammed inside one 10ft x 8ft bedroom. Plus the usual bedroom essentials and some stuff from when I was a kid.

What controller do you have? If you want something free, Mixxx is pretty decent. I've only really used that, Serato and Traktor though.

I use vinyl + Serato in my own setup, because I learnt to mix on vinyl and that's what I find most enjoyable. Although I have the old SL1 which is now unsupported and doesn't even work on modern intel processors, so I'll need to replace that at some point.
