I've actually seen that before, and it wasn't that bad from what I remember. It knew exactly what it wanted to be, and achieved it rather well. It must have done AT LEAST ok for it to get a sequel!

It did make 5M over it's budget, so you are correct in that regard; although It wouldn't be the first financially successful film BMN has screened. Pic related snagged that one.
I am mildly interested to see how movie 2 will go, but we've been surprised before, both good and bad.
