No I was going shopping too often. I am trying to avoid going out again for a long time.

Yes. I am only out of chilled goods. I have 28kg of protein powder, 1600 fish oil capsules, 200 multivitamin pills, and 1kg of "Gentle Fibre" mix. I am trying to use the current crisis to lose weight. I had taken out $4000 cash but it led to me going out and buying food all the time so I had to put it back in the bank account I can't access.

I have no self control at all. I have been on a big food binge and am just starting to get back under control now that I don't have any money I can access. When I got that cough from the barber last year it lasted for weeks, I couldn't get rid of it. The obesity has fucked my health I fear I will die if I catch the Corona in my current state. I was literally risking death to go on food binges. What a mess.

Doggo woke me up. He was pacing around and whining. I tried to ignore him but he was insistent. I figured he must have explosive diarrhoea again. But when we got out there he did a piss (normal quantity) and a bowel movement (solid stools) and that was it. There was no urgency about any of it. I am not impressed.

Doggo made me take him out again. Another fruitless excursion. I think he might just be hungry and was waking me up and having me take him outside because he thought he might get an early breakfast that way.

Doggo's stomach is making loud noises and he hasn't touched his breakfast. He really is sick. It must have been that leftover aldi chicken and vegetable pie I fed him yesterday. This is the last time I am going to feed him anything other than his normal dog food. This happens too often when he eats something unfamiliar. I can hear his stomach from across the room.

I went shopping this morning. Found an 18 pack of Kleenex TP at Aldi. It was one of the last ones on the pallet. The vultures were everywhere, but I guess I was one myself too.

I took the TP to my mother, along with 10kg of rice and some other things. I am trying to get her to stay in but she lies to me and just goes out all the time anyway. When she caught sight of me holding the TP as I came up her driveway she let out squeals of delight. On my way out I heard literal screams of ecstasy as she discovered the two packets of flour in the bottom of the bag.

I have noticed I have an instinctive dislike for anyone who takes the virus what I perceive as too seriously. Anyone wearing masks or just being extra anal about keeping their distance from you. I suppose it comes across as a type of snobbery. This is just me observing my instinctive reaction, I am not saying this is the correct reaction to have.

I think the most Australian response is to be fatalistic about the issue - "If I die I die". Anyone trying too hard to protect themselves comes off as being up themself.

I used to eat quite a lot of Weetbix. I switched to Vita Brits for a while because they had no added sugar or vitamins like Weetbix do. I always ate them with hot full cream milk and mixed them into a porridge. One teaspoon of sugar. I liked the taste.

The headache and nausea were too much for me and I caved and went to my mother's to get some coffee. I didn't have any money to buy some.

When I started driving there I noticed I was feeling better. I could barely feel the headache at all. I have come to the conclusion that going through withdrawal and feeling sick is much worse if you don't leave the house at all.

I got a jar of coffee but since I was feeling better when I got home I didn't open it. It is still sealed. Mother gave me some easter eggs she picked up cheap and I ate them. Chocolate has a little bit of caffeine in it I think.

I am going to try to keep the coffee unopened. The real test will be tomorrow morning. If I wake up with a throbber of a headache then I will be very tempted to have just one cup. But if I feel alright I will keep the jar unopened. The danger is if I hve just one cup it will proceed to just two cups and then just ten cups again like I was doing every day.

I just pulled up my last tomato plants. They were basically dead. I got a pretty good yield from them overall I think. I pulled up the capsicum plant too, I had eaten most of the capsicums, the only ones left were really small and not likely to grow any bigger.

All my garden beds are empty now. All I have growing is three kale pots and one carrot pot. I thinned out the kale seedlings to just one per pot. They are doing okay but the evil white cabbage moth have been at them. It is my first time growing carrots and I sowed way too many seeds in the carrot pot. They all came up very close together and now I have to thin them out so there is a girthy-carrot-width between each one. It is a real pain. I thinned them out a bit this morning but I am tempted to just chuck them all out and abandon it. It is too much work.

I tried to pay using PayPal even though there is no money in my bank account. But Paypal wouldn't try to debit it until Monday so that is a problem for future me.

Now I am stressed. There might be a chance they will deliver my order even though it didn't go through. I don't think it is likely. Maybe I should try again later.

I disassembled my dining table, moved it back into the dining area from the bedroom it had been in, and reassembled it. Only minor sweating. Things are getting into shape here but there is still more work to be done.

This morning doggo started getting in and out of bed and waking me up. I opened my eyes and it felt about 6am so I was unhappy that he was waking me up that early. He kept doing it. Eventually I checked the clock. It turned out it was actually after noon.

The long day time naps caused by my caffeine withdrawal have put me on a 4am - 12 noon sleep schedule. I don't know whether I should fight it or not. I don't have anything to be up for in the mornings and it is cold.

Maybe you could keep extending the cycle and get back to 11pm-8am

What are you guys doing late nights? I know this will sound incredibly stupid to you but one trick that helped adjust sleep schedule is being in bed by 12 and fap/edging to encourage sleep. Helped me out, been keeping a schedule of being asleep by 1am and waking up at 7-8am

I went to Drakes first for $6 a kilo chicken breast fillets on special. Then to Woolies and lastly to Aldi (I needed some aldi chocolate).

I got a phone call from my mother this afternoon asking me to come and see her. I could tell from her hushed tone and her unwillingness to give me any details that it was related to the conspiracy. She took me into her spare bedroom and told me that she had found "how they are doing it". She pointed to what looked like a power outlet that had been ripped out of the wall. She had jammed a wooden school ruler behind it and had what looked to be wire wrapped around it. There was chunks of plaster all over the floor in front of it.

This is the first hole she has put in a wall since she had them all repaired last year. I examined the outlet closer and to my relief it wasn't actually a power outlet but was a dummy one that wasn't connected to any electricity. What I had taken for electrical wires was actually string that had been used to pull a square of plaster into the wall behind the dummy outlet.

I tried to talk her into selling the house and moving somewhere else but she refuses to "let them win". The saga continues, no end in sight.

She says the dummy outlet wasn't there when she first moved in, and that she could see flakes of plaster on the carpet where they had installed it recently. I was sceptical of this claim and she got angry at me. She had been cleaning when she discovered it. Previously there were boxes in front of it.

I don't know what it is there for. Maybe to run internet cables through. There was a hole in the wall behind it. Maybe it was easier to cover with a plastic dummy outlet than to fix the plaster and paint.

I have stayed up late. It is time for bed. I hope I don't get woken up by the neighbour banging on my door asking about his car. I don't want to have to deal with it before I have brushed my teeth.

Just got a text from my mother. She called in her home security man today to look at her wall find (the same security man who installed the cameras in the ceiling for her). It turns out that the security man himself had cut the part of the wall out and covered it up with the dummy power point. He had to make the hole in the wall to guide the cables up for the CCTV system back when he installed it. My mother either didn't notice at the time or had forgotten.

And the good news is my mother believed him and didn't see him as lying to cover for the plot against her. Good news I guess.

I worked out how to turn my front spotlights on. I did some googling and in SA it is only legal to have them on when you have your high beams on. So I tested it out. They don't come on automatically but when you have the high beams on and flick the foglights switch they come on.

I have been doing a lot of thinking about my food problems and obesity. Every time I try a weight loss diet I fail. I have tried just to be "normal" and eat a wide variety of relatively healthy foods but I always overindulge. I eat until I feel sick. If there is food there I can't stop myself from eating it. There is a compulsion. I can't even just have one orange. After the first one my brain compels me to keep eating more of them. I eat until I feel sick. I have spoken to more than one psychologist about it. There is no easy fix.

I have been considering just accepting that I am a fat person and always will be and to give up on the attempts to lose weight. But I know the obesity will ravage my health and kill me at some point. How can I accept that? Accept horrible health problems followed by premature death? Surely I need to keep fighting? My mind and body have been destroyed by this food addiction. I don't know what to do. I can't just keep living like this though, with this non-stop cycle of failed dieting. It has been years now.

It is a common misconception that eating more fruit is inherently healthy. Most fruit contains a significant amount of natural sugars which, when consumed in excess, will have a similar effect to eating sugary junk food.

The key to not being a fat fuck is just to eat less. You don't need to change your diet at all (but I'm assuming that in your case you probably should consider it) as long as you just eat less each meal.

Have you tried anything like Lite n Easy? It is more expensive but having portion controlled meals can help that everything you need is in the package for each meal.

The thing is even if I found a diet that I lost weight on I would not be able to keep it off. I have lost weight so many times before and then it all just goes back on. I can't eat lite n easy for the rest of my life. Same thing with the protein shakes. I think that if I can't lose weight just by eating normal food in sensible proportions then I would not be able to keep weight off after losing it anyway. Do you see what I mean?

Specialised or fad diets or eating plans are no good because once they end all the weight just goes back on again. If I can't control myself to eat 1500 calories a day eating normal food, then I will not be able to control myself eating 2200 calories a day normal food once the diet is over.
