How accurate are the stories to the source material, and is it entertaining/well written?

I would get something they would sell at the frontstore of a museum or 20th century books like those of wolfgang golther, but im an autist who gets triggered by any kind of modern interpretation so you might want a more basic but softer way to read about the myths.

Honestly, this will be the version of the myths I'll tell my daughters. I don't like every decision gaiman made but he did a hell of a job filling in gaps and it's obvious he respects the material.
