Don't know why you would want to be here. Asatru is for Nordic and Germanic Europeans. The Aztec religion is for native Mexicans there really no reason for you to come here

Asatru the religion certainly is only relevant to Nordics and Germanics, but /asatru/ the board is titled "Asatru/Heathenry/Paganism" so I think it makes sense for the board to include non-Nordic/Germanic 'paganism'. I mean, why exclude Hellenism from the board?

Dunnoh, some chinese guy wanted to show off his houseshrine and other stuff here and got also shoo'ed away.
Guess some people fear the focus of the board ends in some universalistic "wereallthesame" wiccaism if others come in, but the ones that come here are probably not into mixing their traditions up anyway so I dont understand it that much.
However im interested, do you just wanna talk about mesoamerican religion or are you an actual nahua from south mexico who practizes what indigenous substance is left in the syncretic christian-indio mix that is still prevalent in the backwater rural areas?
How do you feel about the whole "If my Pyramid gets dry the sun stops turning" thing in hindsight?

No because Mexicans are an enemy of the white race and therefore an enemy of our gods, your gods are moloch tier demons who used to ask spics for the flayed skins of virgins to honor a fucking corn god. You also had a goddess that consumes human feces and was depicted with shit around her mouth in all those old statues

I don't mind other pagan ethno-faiths tbh. Pagans aren't Christians, there isn't that haughty arrogance of anti-gentile monotheism that denies other ethno religions

You can't just declare their whole pantheon to be demonic m80.
Besides, how do you know their Gods are enemies of ours? Are you saying Spic actions satisfy all the Mesoamerican spirits? Are you going to ignore those times when Mesoamerican Gods blessed White men?

I don't mind them, either, really. Same thing with the Chinese guy. It can be neat and interesting, but if we let them all in we'll drift our focus and eventually this board will just look like some kind of wicca board.
Maybe we should just have a non-Asatru paganism general where all this stuff can be posted.

Asatru is also called heathen and pagan, it's not saying that the board is for all types of paganism.
/pagan/ exists and you are free to make a board for Aztec.

Can just make one thread discussing different types of Non-European paganism. This way it is contained and if curious types want to see parallels or just are interested can read them if they like.
As a whole though I think this board should be mostly European centric though. But as I said a containment thread wont hurt.

Obviously not, though I've been thinking of making a board dedicated to all things pre-Colombian before, but I think there's little to no audience for it on this site. The word pagan seems to have become too connected specifically to Europeans, mostly the Norse.
Plus, things like Maya religious traditions have been too infected by both Catholicism and 20th century New Age mumbo(many of which is either twisted or downright fabricated), same things that happened to the US native traditions and hippies.
OP, if you're still checking this board, I believe that the best thing to do is turn off the computer, open up a history book, or go to your village and study how their traditions are still kept(I am interested in how things beyond just sacrifice work), and what has been soiled by Christianity, and do your research to stay away from hippie bull. At least that's all I can suggest.

If you happen to live in Aztec lands, I guess it could be suitable to venerate Aztec deities relevant to the land even if you're heathen.

Also Calm down fag.
pa·gan·ism
ˈpāɡəˌnizəm/
noun
a religion other than one of the main world religions, specifically a non-Christian or pre-Christian religion.
"converts from paganism to Christianity"
a modern religious movement incorporating beliefs or practices from outside the main world religions, especially nature worship.
"modern paganism includes a respect for mother earth"
If you did not want threads like this should not use the all encompassing word "Pagan" in the board name.
Also it does not hurt to learn about other Pagan peoples' customs helps us gain a perspective on our own.
>INB4
>Hurr durr multicultural fag blah blah
Nah not saying you should embrace that culture or practice it but being an ignorant fuck does not help anyone.
Also not offing anywhere. Been shitposting here for like 2 years. Also calling me a mongrel aint going to cause me to fuck off. Lolz I been called worse here.

This board should be explicitly branded, if you will, to consist only of the European spirituality and mythology then. Since some people are weaseling in with their foreign influences.
Apparently some people don't understand from the explicit theme of this board that it is European only.

Since this thread is here, thought I'd share something interesting.
In Peru, was a group of blue-eyed blond-haired white people called the chachapoyas, or cloud people. Their structures and art style is a bit Celtic in appearance. They were also known for wool production and beauty. In Maya mythology, there is a rain god named Chaac, which has a lightening axe and is associated with warfare. Very Thor-like.
The cloud people were going to team up with the Spanish to fight the Inca, but they fell to disease brought over from Spain.
Several other stories from various tribes across the Americas describe white people of the past with the ability of mining and metallurgy.
