Holy fuck it will be bad unless by some miracle they give a true Tolkien autist creative control. I think Christopher Tolkien sums up my expectations the best:
>"Tolkien has become a monster, devoured by his own popularity and absorbed into the absurdity of our time," Christopher Tolkien observes sadly. "The chasm between the beauty and seriousness of the work, and what it has become, has overwhelmed me. The commercialization has reduced the aesthetic and philosophical impact of the creation to nothing. There is only one solution for me: to turn my head away."

Also…did Christopher Tolkien just stop giving a shit? Is he too old to defend the works of his father or something? I thought his son was even more autistically puritan.

It's a meme, and you'd need to be really high on cognitive dissonance from both worshipping a jew and hating jews to entertain it. Even the whitest looking askhenazi have noticeable amount of eastern mediterranean heritage. It certainly makes significantly more sense that Jews are descendant of the various semitic groups that spread around the Mediterranean through the major trade routes than that they are all descendants of a small steppenigger nobility that might have adopted an exotic religion for the kicks.

I think most such people imagine that any evidence of their theory being wrong is a fabrication of the modern Jews. Similar to the way that many modern-day communists believe the reports we get out of North-Korea are fabricated by the capitalist press.
When people think they have been lied to once, they're likely to expect to be lied to again by the same crowd. And if they have little self-awareness, or are possessed by an ideology, they will call every challenge of their worldview a fabrication of their enemy.
…something tells me there's a reference to this exact phenomenon in the Legendarium, possibly in the lies Sauron told the Wild Men and Easterlings regarding the Men of the West, but I can't recall off the top of my head.

Christianity is just as shit really since they get triggered so easily, and I'm a full blown Cathocuck myself please end the Pope, every day is spiritual misery ;_;
Religion is one of those fracture points every community has. Easy to take advantage of, even within the same religious community, let alone one with multiples. And the history between the Germanic pagans and the Christians isn't exactly roses so that increases the vector that shills can use to start shit.
Ultimately, I wish mods would post with a capcode in every thread that's getting derailed, an excerpt of Tolkien's letter that's included in the foreword of the Silmarillion, in where he discusses why the Valar are meant to be angelic beings. He was a Catholic with a deep understanding and love of myth, more so than a lot of nupagans. Hence why the religion/myth in Tolkien is so damned good.

I see religion as an expression of a race. In that sense I enjoy Tolkien writing things that sort of mix Christian, ancient Roman/Greek, and pagan ethos together. I don't see them as fundamentally conflicting because of their common source. Perhaps Tolkien was able to glean for us something deeper and truer to the core in this unified vision of spirituality he devised. Though Tolkien was Catholic, the passion he devoted to his pantheon, to me, could not be the result of merely an academic reproduction. It felt like he had a deep appreciation and respect for these ancient beliefs, perhaps feeling them to be as much real world myth and legend as stories about dragons and fairies. I often wonder if he did not privately to himself hold his own religion as a grand form of legend, perhaps thinking that it deserved its current reverence based on its virtue and beauty alone.

On the other hand Tolkien apparently took Catholic dogma seriously, but on the other hand the mythic cosmology in Silmarillion is supposed to be in-setting Elvish interpretation of the same God as in Christianity, implying only the God is truth and everything below Him is mere interpretation. There's also the implication that completely pagan religions had real of divinity through the Valar and the work of Istari. Everything in Tolkien's work only exist in the "sub-creation", but it still devalues the semitic myth that is the basis of the world view in Bible.
