Yup, it's really worrisome that 8ch is dying but hopefully Codemonkey patches it up.
Hex Maniac thread maker might have deleted it. What does SFD anyway?

My first instinct was that he just deleted the thread, which is possible.
Still bizarre how it still shows the thread on the Catalog but can't be accessed.
And viewing this board without the catalog, you can see my post #26 in the Inquiries thread on the front page, but again when I enter the thread I can't see a thing.
8ch has fixed up a lot of patches lately in glitches but this is actually the first time I've experienced these glitches. Just weird. Not sure if its just my end or what.

Turns out I was totally wrong about this. The Alacity Demon just decided to send it into a state of non-posting hell. We can mark the thread for deletion and the thread maker can try to make another SFW thread.

So why is there no option to watch threads here

You can re-enable it in your custom css options:
a.watchThread {display: inline !important;}
I got rid of it because it's confusing for two reasons:
1. It's right next to "Reply." A new visitor to 8chan may click "Watch Thread" thinking that's the way to open a thread. It would make more sense to have it in the drop-down menu.
2. Nothing seems to happen when you click it. It's not immediately obvious what it does. You have to dig through the interface to find the "watchlist" button at the top. When you click something you should expect immediate visual feedback. Why doesn't the watchlist display when you click "Watch Thread"?

Can't visit this thread, it acts like it has been deleted. If the thread has been deleted then it doesn't update on the catalog
Can't access the Index either for that matter, might be a site wide issue

While this board is pretty slow, do you think there could be an /ara/-tan? If so, should she be a cake or a mother? How would she look or act? Would she be a personification of the Oedipus Complex, or would she be her own character who simply fits the mold of /ara/?

I think Ara tan would be a thick kind of mother with some soft chub to her belly and a but built on laziness and love. Maybe she could be her own character that molds around /ara/? Like she could deny her needs to devour her son while almost melting when she gets a hug from him?

I prefer a fit ara but some thickness, mostly around the hip and thigh area, is perfect.
Big tits are no exception, a flat milf just doesn't look right.

Resident Drawfag here. So you guys want to create an Ara-Tan together? Sounds like a good way to train my doodling skills. I'm up for it. Here's a quick sketch I did this morning to start things off. It's just a general ameba of form that's going to change drastically once the ball gets rolling.
So what exactly are you all looking for in a Ara-Tan? I get you want a Milf with some thickness and big boobies. That's a given. But what about:
>Hairstyle
>Hair color
>Pubic hair style
>Nipple & areola preferences
>General outfit
>Personalty
>Etc.
Give me some suggestions and I'll try to craft something out from them. Pictures of what you want are even better. Let's see if we can develop a board mascot that everyone will like!

>Hairstyle
Maybe braded, that seems motherly
>Hair color
Whatever you think looks good
>Pubic hair style
This might be personal bias speaking but thick and bushy
>Nipple & areola preferences
Both normal and inverted both look good on large breasts so should come down to a vote
>General outfit
An apron
>Personalty
Caring and loving.
>Etc.

>Nipple & areola preferences
A truely motherly character should be lactating, which usually implies larger-than-usual nipples and/or larger areola.

I assumed Mama-chan would be /ara/'s unofficial board tan. But that could be an issue because it's Ink's OC and not ours.
>Motherly body
>Lactating
>Favorite food is pound cake

>Son is also Anon

Mama-Chan is a pretty solid notion, but like you said, we didn't come up with her.
Lately I've been thinking of having both a milf and a cake-tan, since two would be both the least and most needed to cover the variety of ara. The milf for simply being a mother as well as the older relative sort of ara, while the cake would cover the areas of appeal an older single woman exudes. Obviously she'd be a next door neighbor to milf-tan's family, or at least someone who often interacts with son-anon, or is simply an acquaintance of milf-tan. I think she'd be best with a personality that comes off as a lady in her mid-late twenties who occasionally has troubles with the fact that she's no longer a teenager. Both milf-tan and cake-tan should be sexy and cute, but I think one should be more sexy while the other's more cute.
As for looks, I don't really think I can say which one would be ideal for an ara-tan. I think it can be agreed though that what we want is a body with an ample chest and considerably wide hips, between the points where someone could say that she inherently has an indecent body, but not so far that she looks like a full on fertility goddess like in that one hentai about tittyfucking a milf and daughter. This sounds rather contradictory, but while simply writing posts like this is getting me going, I don't want to have a board-tan that makes me need to fap every time I see an image of her. Then again the Switch Dog-tan is basically that for a bunch of people already.
