I'n currently reading Shoujo Kakumei Utena, which has a premise and story that I do like, but the actually execution of the story is absolute trash. It seems like half the characters are absentminded to everything going in, things moving forward just because "shit happens", and to story has absolutely no flow to it's structure. And, I'm reading through thus just dumbfounded because Hell Girl, Ogeha, and Nemiki's works are actually some of the best manga out there. So, why is this so hard to read?

I have no idea, but I guess is because the argument and settings are a simple excuse to pander the romantic idealization of adolescent girls.

I went ~~dumpster~~ josei diving before, and it's 80~90% fujoshit.

Amai-chan is the obvious outlier.

There's a fine line between fiction (hypothetical) and bullshit (quackery), fantasy (imagination>real) and delusion ('reality'/utopia>reality).

How is this relevant to shoujo manga?

If there was a scale between male and female brains, at each far end is either psychopath-autism (models and systems > experiences and individuals) or psychotic-solipsism (experiences and individual > model and systems). The middle is sympathy-empathy.
