Haven't watched the latest episodes but episode 10 is around chapter 38, I'm guessing the anime got to around chapter 45. Shame that they wasted so much time on the theater arc.

CG wasn't as much of an eyesore as expected probably due to the cast being animals. If this cour adapted 45 chapters than that means that the Tem arc wouldn't be done in the 2nd season as the whodunnit doesn't start until after chapter 90, which begs the question of what they're going to do with the 2nd season as it does have lots of filler and just in general chapters with only exposition that could be condensed down immensely.
