There's probably a more eloquent way to do it but my browser doesn't let me save pics from twitter by right clicking on them, I end up screenshotting them, which is kind of irritating. But I never got much fan art from there anyways.

Why haven't you already saved things of interest on twitter? The content on the website is more fickle than on most social networks. You should've already saved the things you like from twitter, since they don't have a gallery function like pixiv most things get buried within a week.

Not necessarily anime but there are artists that upload things only on twitter and use their pixiv accounts only for doujinshi marketing, effectively making twitter their main website.

Twitter is a little insidious in how you have to save images. You need to right-click, get the URL. Then if necessary append :orig or overwrite whatever :prefix it has (large, thumb, etc.) to make sure it's giving the original, and even that doesn't work perfectly. Is there a proper scraper for it like PixivUtil2? Shame most of the time artists using it bury the content with a truckload of garbage and vanity crap.

I wrote a simple twitter script (using curl and sed) that I use from time to time because I couldn't be bothered by manipulating URLS
I guess it's a good time to share it, it's been tested a bunch and so far it work.
usage is twitter.sh "url" "url" ...
The next step would be looping through the media list of an artist.

Use gallery-dl or dhIMG Twitter to save a twitter account's media automatically.
Artists that only use twitter should get fucked. Use a proper platform to host art. Twitter is a cancer on society and the net.

You can also use JDownloader 2 to copy the https://twitter.com/nigger_X/media and it will download all the uploaded media of the artist in :orig size no problem
