Where the fuck are you supposed to start with this. Spoilers ahead, anime may or may not cover this.
Another party lands on the same island from the same plane crash - a guy and a tomboy that's pretending to be a man just because she's flustered. Next to nothing is mentioned about their survival struggles aside from that they've landed with some of the supplies (supposedly they ate fucking sweets from there to sustain themselves the first few days). Somehow guy is INCREDIBLY incompetent at figuring out what's edible and what isn't - how they've managed to acquire supplies like long-term food, water and such is left completely unexplained.
Eventually, main party of 4 grills progress to the point where they find a hot spring and go use it for it's intended purpose. Tomboy stumbles upon them and instead of doing a reasonable thing and linking up with them she just fucking hides, just because she's flustered since she's still pretending to be a guy.
At some point Homare's father joins the second party because somehow he saw their smoke signal and the other party didn't. He takes them to a boat, but then the boat inexplicably "has a short" and fucking explodes, stranding him as well.
