FAQ does not reflect recent changes:
Red Textno longer has to be on a line by itself
Purple Text has been added and can be on same line with other texdt
To use
ASCII ART (giant text) it needs tags before & after and I believe it has to be on the same line and any URLs within the AA don't work
Some of the tags can be combined, like for instance
Underline plus italic (hope these work)
Red + bold(ditto)
etc.
What might be confusing to newfags is that
the 'colors' referred to in the FAQ are rendered
according to the /abcu/ board's local
formatting rules (Cascading Style Sheet, CSS).

Well there was a group of newfags invited over for a visit recently, and we were trying to answer their questions on formatting. I like @babyfist's CSS.

kek I have no idea about the code, actually I don't use these. Didn't notice it's different here aside from greentext.

No but you should be able to delete you own post if needed.
If needed for an article you can local report and request update be made.
Or delete in repost if needed

The 8kun FAQ describes the DEFAULT CSS. Most boards on 8kun do not implement custom CSS. Having a distinctive CSS is a good thing IMO because it helps people remember where they are.
