nobody™ thread (I am not advertising his channel, he removed it so I would have nothing to gain from doing that anyways)
I have downloaded a vast majority of his videos, but I am missing a few of his very early works. If anyone has:
Abyss
Smalltalk+
Worldview Warfare
or any others that were removed over the course of his channel's existence, feel free to post them.
All discussion related to his projects or the subjects they cover is welcome.

I don't know about his channel, but he has a website at https://nobodytm.com, where there are not only videos but his albums and links. I preferred the previous design, but oh well.
I read an interview he did with Randy Prozac and it seems that Hermeticism and similar occultist schools are an important theme in his works.
An important aspect to note about him and his work is that everything he does has meaning, from the layout of words in a message, to the background of his page, to the distortion on the voice of individuals on his videos: ever notice how it is usually (if not exclusively) disturbed people who have their voices and faces distorted, while the "innocent" no not?
The fact that he deletes older videos and albums definitely has some significance as well. Perhaps it has to do with attachment, or death and rebirth. Some of his music is pretty good too.
Sorry OP, I didn't save any of his videos.

Watched episode one off his site. I did enjoy it, but am unsure of why he runs commercials in the background. Is it to show how they hit ok emotions, or what?
Although he did something I've been wondering about for a while. Because images hit on the right side of the brain and then he has a discussion going on which is hitting the left side. I've wondered what happens when you mix the two. It made my head hurt, but then again that could just be related to my tbi

I am aware of his website, I've been visiting it since 2013 (I want to say since it was created, but perhaps that would be a stretch). It was interesting to see it evolve over time, but I was foolish and neglected saving his video projects - I did manage to download all of his music though, fantastic stuff.
>The fact that he deletes older videos and albums definitely has some significance as well. Perhaps it has to do with attachment, or death and rebirth.
Yes, I recall the conversation we had. I'm not sure if that's the whole reasoning (when nobody™ was asked, he said it was because his earlier works were unrefined and unrepresentative of his perceptions, or something along those lines) but it certainly sounds like something nobody™ would do.
>>1895
I am aware of this, thank you for the reply though.

I've never experienced headaches from watching his videos, but perhaps. He has a rather extensive knowledge of psychology, (outside of the pseudo-psychology in some of his earlier episodes) so it's possible he implements some of that into his videos.
I would skip probably the first 3 episodes, but that's just me.

Now I am a bit of an autist, but the reason I recommended parasite dreams was because it's pretty easy to understand what's going on in it, you generally don't need to have any prior experience with philosophy or the occult to realise what Randy's getting at.
Same for NobodyTM's earlier works, as they were simple and blatant enough to be understood by everyone.
In my opinion, I believe that everyone's encountered at least a few of the scenarios in parasite dreams presented in one way or the other.
Also, based on the themes involved, Randy is obviously referring to things like the Franklin coverup and Mindwar/MKUltra.

According to an interview on his page, he's not even 23 years old.
While parts of his feature intrigue me, there is much I think that is product of the fermentation of angst, reflective of the uglier moments of one's inner development. It's an age of disillusionment, there's a keenly felt contrast of bad reality transgressing good ideals. Many become familiar with this, yet nobody (TM) makes an acid-washed, vocally distorted cariacture of fringe subjects and opposes to them tenets of Christ and then laces elements of the conspiracy zeitgeist over the whole thing.
Yet people have been weird for centuries. Imagine how many thousands of lisping aspie monks across 16th century europe were collecting and praying to figurines of the Virgin Mary, then giving her the hotglue treatment. Am I to condemn them? Never. Instead I commend their transgression as a form of individual freedom against dogmatic mind control.

I enjoy the old Nobody work because firstly, it was top-tier background/white-noise audio, and secondly it was far more interesting and emotional than any of the videos I've seen this year.
I get his experimentation with archetype and symbolism, but now it's become pretty bloated.

It's been nearly three years since I watched the bulk of his stuff get taken down by youtube for bullshit community guidelines and taken down by the man himself. We've been holding out this long in hopes of being able to share with others this surge of material we were too naive to save before the ship went down. Now it finally comes up, years of waiting......I mean holy shit, some poor bastard from Poland has been stuck seeding scythe at 80% in the torrent for over two years now. >I get his experimentation with archetype and symbolism, but now it's become pretty bloated.
I've really enjoyed his more recent work but I can see definitely where you're coming from. His earlier videos were nice and simple I suppose you could say. That's not a criticism. His new stuff, I sometimes find hard to figure out. It requires more thinking. I'm sure there's something he's trying to express in some videos but you don't really have time to figure it out in a fast moving video. I suppose symbolism is quite a hard thing to work with in video medium, despite it being visual. Adam Wallace calls Nobody's recent work alchemy. I think he's right to an extent but it's hit and miss. When it work it works, when it doesn't...
I've actually found his special episodes the more enjoyable and thought provoking, and they have minimal editing or symbolism in them.
>>3057
>Now it finally comes up, years of waiting......I mean holy shit, some poor bastard from Poland has been stuck seeding scythe at 80% in the torrent for over two years now. All that time just to get the middle finger?
When you put it like that it does make me angry again. I haven't even been waiting as long as you.
I'm trying to separate Nobody from his work because it has value to me. I don't want to talk about those dick suckers in the /pol/ thread but I really don't understand Nobody. The anon who came in on his high horse (the one who convinced the other one not to drop the videos) said it was something about decay or something. I think Nobody conceives Scythe as some kind of ever mutating project. Or that could just be an excuse for not liking the original cut, idk.
I could understand that coming from Nobody the artist himself I suppose, but to me it's not natural. It's inhuman just to discard something of value. We all have our relics that we preserve and with good reason. Because they have meaning. Nothing lasts forever but we wouldn't have art today if it wasn't for people preserving it. Artists don't really care, they get off on the creative process. It's Nobody's right not to share his art but once he's released it onto the world I don't see why anyone shouldn't share and enjoy.
I understand how you feel. This whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yes, it is one of my issues with his current work as well. It feels as if it's just symbolism for the sake of symbolism, with the essence of the message being scattered to the winds.
>Adam Wallace calls Nobody's recent work alchemy
He's right but the alchemy has to happen in the viewers mind first. Most people aren't 'initiated' enough to understand the reasoning behind all of the symbolism, that's why Nobodies older work is so sought after, because it was understood by all as a clear and universal message.
>I've actually found his special episodes the more enjoyable and thought provoking, and they have minimal editing or symbolism in them.
Same here, in these videos he goes straight to the subject matter, avoiding the obfuscation with symbolism and allegories. Generally, most of the things that Nobody talks about are understandable from the get go, requiring no extra simplification through the aid of symbolism.
Anyways, there's nothing stopping you from making your own videos, that's what I've wanted to do, NobodyTM is one of the pioneers of a new kind of art medium, so why not explore it?

to be fair, his aim is to invoke abstract thinking, deeper realms of thought. People are conditioned in many ways, introspection has to happen naturally, in a natural thoughtfulness. His work is attempting to cater to a variety of human experience and emotion, so it's much to take in, and you sort of have to do a little homework to get some of it. That is fine though, and everything is symbolic, so to say he is being symbolic for the sake of the language.. well, isn't everything doing that? For the sake of itself, the expression.

Yeah his older work would be useful as a kind of homework that the anon below you referred to.
>Anyways, there's nothing stopping you from making your own videos...
That's true. I need to invest in some decent software though first. Even so it's something literally anyone can do and there is so many things you can explore with it. You're limited only by your own imagination. Making your own films is another possibility. Has Nobody ever filmed his own video content? I don't recall. Combining what Nobody does with your own content could be interesting. I've not watched a lot of Randy Prozac but he seems to do that.

How would everyone feel about discussing some of our specific interpretations from nobody's videos?
For the most recent one I've watched, video disc 1's current version on his website, here are some thoughts.
The loop of the heaven's gate guy repeating "it's not your fault" - could either be saying that in reference to the hideous things he has depicted in the video, that we're lambs to the slaughter of our times more or less, vices are simply too powerful for the spiritually weak, and it's just not your fault you've been wounded, or perhaps even an excoriation of that previous mindset, with the criticism being levelled at the relief of responsibility that view could hold for some people. Either way I found it very poignant.
The guy wearing the female mask in the woods, a way to depict with a certain sense of dread imparted the feminine influence overcoming men nowadays, specifically the confusion of gender and masc/fem energies. This would then lead into the various crossdressing stuff nicely throughout the video, specifically the guy in the dress drinking piss overlaid with the snake eating the mouse, literally being eaten alive by his unrestrained lust manifesting in the fetishism. I think a lot of porn capitalises on a shift to the feminine side in men's brains. And on the other weird shit, the infantilism stuff being a culmination of the literal retreat into a circuit-1 mindset a lot of people seem to use to cope with life in modern times, just in a more explicit fashion. The dude in the bathtub, easily one of the most fucked up parts, literally pouring some disgusting muck all over himself with a mask on - is there a better way to sum up the depths of unrestrained "sexuality" we see in porn on the internet now? I think nobody uses furries more for comedic and aesthetic purposes, as the text when the furreis were firing off guns had me laugh out loud.
What else... the ending with the western children playing looped backward, nice music, but overlaid with footage of buildings being levelled. Here we are confronted with the beauty of childhood, the wholesome innocence, but having the footage play backwards reveals an underlying absurdity since in other parts of the world buildings are literally being levelled in all sorts of war - the juxtaposition there being similar to the tanks rolling into the middle east next to the Obongo deification in ouroboros. Maybe a warning of the coming lower standards of living in western countries too, particularly USA and Europe, or just a way to add a dark undercurrent to things we would consider beautiful, since it is there, lurking under the surface. The kids can't stay on the playground forever, and soon they'll have to face the world as it is, unfortunately for them in a lot of ways. Reminds you of the cosy, suburban decor behind a lot of the disgusting fetishism throughout the video.

>To: Randy Prozac <britneymorgue@sentimentalcorp.org>
>People are crying about laws Russia re-acts in its own country now and how evil Russia is, everyone is so retarded. Intel groups here are working to associate Russia in peoples minds as being the reason the Clinton corpse lost.
>I don't believe that's what this article is truly being published for. I see a deeper pattern that is emerging about the anti Russia articles being pushed universally across the mainstream media right now - it serves two functions, partly to assist in trying to discourage westerners who increasingly empathize with Russia against the western global banking agenda pushing the American uni-party narrative, and partly to distract from the fact that the media in the west has been discredited as a deep state intelligence tool, and that the CIA has been exposed by Wikileaks as keeping recordings of us touching ourselves through our televisions and phones all day, and also that the previous administration hacked the French election and allegedly wiretapped 35 world leaders.
>To control and exploit people, you always have to unite them against an external enemy. Nobody cared or heard what Russia did until the DNC lost a billion dollars of George Soros' money - Soros, the billionaire deep state globalist subversion artist who made his fortune during the holocaust era murdering his fellow Jews and stealing their money, who publicly says he hopes to assist in America's fall in his lifetime - and now Russia is the great Satan all of a sudden in the MSM.
>The real reason for it is because Russia banned Soros and his gestapo thought police goons, and it opposes the global banking system that owns the United States and its media, and the deep state here is making a last ditch effort to link up Russia with evil in people's minds, using their press-titutes to air non-stop evil Russia stories in the media, having the CIA infect computers with Russian malware so they can say everyone is colluding with Russia or that Russia is attacking, etc, meanwhile NATO violates it's agreements with Russia, surrounding them at the border with nuclear weapons pointed inward at Russia. The NATO wolves keep circling, even though Russia withdrew from all occupied countries after the fall of the Soviet Union to keep its side of the bargain that we violated.
>It excuses the DNC's election disaster and distracts from the real narrative as Wikileaks exposes the massive corruption of the deep state. Why doesn't USA TODAY do an article about how there are roving gangs of twenty migrants gang raping women to death in broad daylight across Europe and breaking the legs of their corpses backwards over their head for better penetration? Because that would go against their agenda of using immigrants for their agenda of consolidating western power.

Nobody's earlier work is more concrete in theme and aesthetics where as now it's all quite abstract, images used to hit home and have a universal impact on all viewers, whereas now all though quite stunning and beautiful, it's all up to the viewers interpretation, which as a rule will not coincide with the artists original message due to the amount of abstractions involved and effort needed deciphering the symbols and archetypes.
Nobody's work also used to serve to initiate the viewers into an understanding of a whole host of information, it was an excellent medium for the viewer because it compressed a wide array of content and material into a condensed and easily consumable package, acting as a gateway for the viewer to information that they might have once been unaware of. This in my opinion along with his music, is what brought in a lot of Nobody's viewership.
Nobody's older videos are extremely easy to follow and understand, there is minimal ulterior symbolism because the video or clip speaks for itself, the imposed symbolism in his newer videos only obfuscates the wider picture, and makes the video confusing and ineligible to most viewers.
The discrepancy between his old and new videos is clear, his earlier content was provocative and informative, and proved to be a viable educational medium, whilst his newer videos are more of an abstract artistic medium.
Nobody's artistic medium is one that's open to everybody to play around with, there's lot's of potential in it, you can experiment a lot with it, techniques can be refined, messages conveyed and so on. It's encouraged that people engaging in this do not do it for the purpose of emulating Nobody's work or anybody else for that matter, you will likely not achieve your desired results.

Sad to see NobodyTM ending his project. His work meant a lot to me, and has helped me in my own journey. Especially his music.
That being said, I feared this would happen eventually, all good things must come to an end.
I spent the last year archiving his work, everything. The site itself (the html files, before it was excluded from archive.is), albums, videos, art. All of it.
I know there is some stuff I am probably missing, but there was a huge amount of work put into this so it should be comprehensive.

Another thing, NobodyTM gave his final interview on this site:
http://sun-society.com/
(i am not affiliated with them)
It seems like a pretty cool site, I would be surprised if those guys don't browse this board.
He mentions that the "window for this kind of content to be produced is closing". I think a parallel internet is emerging, a decentralized one where people can share this kind of content and discuss these kinds of ideas. White noise is drowning out "wrongthink" better and better as time goes on.
I want to encourage everyone to save content and information that might be "phased out" by whoever is calling the shots. You can even see on /pol/ and half /pol/ more and more discussion of memory hole information and how the internet is rapidly changing.

Thanks for the links, anon. If anyone still prowls /32/ here and doesn't know what ANUBIS was/is, it's a compilation of nobodytm's works similar to SCYTHE. However, I remember it being of an earlier cycle of the project's content, maybe the earliest one. It's surprising to me that no one but SOG and Mexicans have covered nobodytm or Sentimental Corp. Even then, their coverage was simply clicking through Sentimental Corp or watching a single episode of nobodytm and going "Whoa, that's crazy!" They feel like some of the only remaining big niche projects on the internet. Maybe it's because they're so scattered and impenetrable to a normal audience.

The old NobodyTM Archive channel has been remade into an attempted sequel project by another person. Its first upload, Earth 2023 (a sequel to the influential Earth 2013), is a poor imitation of Nobody.

I hope you see this.
Despite how you've managed to get a grip on his editing techniques, your video, Earth 2023, is like a weird mishmash of Nobody's different phases, and it doesn't work. For starters, Nobody typically wouldn't focus on a single video unless he overlaid music or a speech on it while the video's audio played beneath it. The introduction to your video, what I've dubbed the "drag queen story time section," doesn't follow this. It shows a single prolonged newsreel without its audio but with music over it. If you're trying to ape the concept of Earth 2013, you should show a series of videos and images related to the topic of the acceptance of transsexuals and their pushing in things like drag queen story times. Next, what I've dubbed the "iPad kid section." During non-informational monologues, Nobody would typically show a variety of images and videos relating to what was being discussed. Manson's dialogue presents an array of possible topics to progress through. Overpopulation and a shortage of human souls because of it, the sort of sociopathy required to manage large populations, human destruction of society and the planet, the hypocrisy of people who try to tell others how to live when they don't have their own lives in order, computers as new tools of control. You focused on something that could be a part of this, the reduction of attention spans and hyperactivity of the youth due to parental negligence, but you focused on that for too long. By halfway through the monologue, the viewer understands what's being said. Show the unruliness of the population, social decay, incompetence in leadership, the clamoring to surrogate parental figures who almost always don't follow their own advice, and the increasing presence of digital control in society. In what I've dubbed the "out of body section," I liked the image you presented in contrast to what was being discussed, but you jumped the gun in showing it completely and ramping up the music. The fade-in of the image should have been slow before finally taking up the screen completely, and the music should have accompanied this transition, reaching a deafening height at the end.
Overall, there's some promise here. However, I think you need to seriously study what you're drawing inspiration from from an editing and directing standpoint if you want to accurately mimic its style before making more videos.
