Im interested in getting into making mobile games and really like arena shooters. I know there are some limitations and challenges with making a mobile arena shooter as well as the genre being a bit quiet lately, but I feel it would do fairly well. I would have to slow it down a little and swap bunny hopping for a dash and would need to find a way to make weapon swapping easier. What are your thoughts on an arena shooter being on mobile?

Mobile shooters tend to be hardware checks. You could argue the same for other games due to people with higher end PCs doing better on average than otherwise, but the difference is much more extreme for mobile shooters. The guy playing on his phone on the shitter is at an extreme disadvantage to the guy with a tablet propped up and a controller plugged in, who is at an extreme disadvantage to the guy running an Android emulator on their PC.

I see. That makes sense. You would have to take into acount latency and lag too for shitty connection. That would be tough. You could make the players more durable but that would just defeat the whole point of the game.
