I like the Yakuza series but I don’t like the turn based ones or Ichiban. I unironically miss Kiryu as the protagonist. The Majima pirate game was pretty comfy, though.

I'd call that an unfair assessment. 0 stood on the shoulders of giants. It was the ultimate culmination of everything they made from Kenzan to Ishin. They were able to make the most jam packed game in the series because half of the work was already done from the jump.
They had to work from scratch starting with 6.
