I absolutely hate how every fucking remaster absolutely just puts on more clothes and calls it "modern sensibilities". It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. You go to the beach and everyone is wearing even less clothes than what's even available in fucking video games. So far I only hate the color palette. Oblivion is supposed to look like a fairytail with blossoming meadows and the trees rustling in the wind. This looks unpleasant. Also I always thought that Ayleid Ruins supposed to be built out of marble or limestone. These look like a regular drab grey stone.

I agree. I always thought of it as "ruins of a super advanced civilization". Now, it's just ordinary ruins.
This color grading is absolute shit too. If they were going to rework the art direction, they should instead have gone with those eye-watering bloom/glow effects that were common in fantasy movies, with sparkling water droplets and glowing fog.
The blu-ray remaster absolutely ruined it btw.

If they make the combat better and fix the level scaling and leveling up I would enjoy it. Graphics need to be tweaked to be brighter, but it will probably have many mods. Yes I know mods already do that stuff, but the foundation is 20 years old at this point. An internal upgrade is more important than what they do to the graphics
