Paradise Cracked (and the next part Cops 2170)

Fantasy wars (crossbreed with TBS) with all additional campaigns (Elven legacy especially recommended)

Ascension to the throne (also the second part named Valkyrie)

Soldiers of anarchy (this one more like RTS)

Space rangers 1 and 2 (turn based space RPG)

Star wolves (real time space tactical RPG)

A.I.M.: Artificial Intelligence Machine

Drakensang (and River of Time)

I would also recommend Nexus: The Jupiter Incident and Haegemonia (both are space RTS actually but with heroes and freaking epic story)

Wizardry (haven't played myself but heard it was good)

Warning: Russian and Ukrainian games somewhat poorly translated. Also many games in this list not a straight RPG.

Septerra Core (it looks and plays as your typical JRPG but it is Western game as a matter of fact)
