Today, the man who sparked the gamergate movement when Zoe Quinn false DMCA'd his video, Matt Jarbo, officially denounced the movement. After a long, hard session collecting boulders, MundaneMatt, overcome by guilt, denounced the moment and it's role in the January 6th capital riots/insurrection which overthrew the US Government.
Critics of the movement chalked this up as another win against the pedophiles still wielding the banner of gamergate. When asked for comment, an anonymous gamergate responded to our inquiry, "It's not pedophilia. She's a 500 year old loli vampire!"
As of writing this, 0 advertisers who posted propaganda related to January 6th have had their advertisers contacted and boycotted. Critics of the gamergate movement continue to question why it still exists.

Also, back then there was a *lot* of anger about Gerstman getting shitcanned. Most people just didn't quite realize yet that the industry as a whole is corrupt, and that professional reviews are bought and paid for.
