After about 5 years I realized 99% of people are shallow with no real interests outside of substance abuse, casual sex, and binging television to get through hangovers. Some of them literally live for their shitty jobs and drinking, all they do outside of work is get drunk and talk about work. At least 75% of the people I met had gone to jail or got arrested for various reasons, and this was in a predominantly white, rural town. I discovered my life was more fulfilling as a shut in with "loser" hobbies than an alcoholic with a "social life."

I was actually dumbfounded on seeing the first wave of games getting broken, especially when it was standard anime fanservice, and the system has accommodated much much lewder games. What's even the point? The PS4 is probably only going to have a couple more years, if that, the existing games are well trenched, and they clearly haven't got the power to censor them in post because otherwise that would've happened.

They not only canceled their Playstation Expo back in December, but their 2019 E3 appearance as well. Meanwhile they're trying desparately to hide behind 'muh chillins' as a defense for this censorship, and ended up pushing back a meeting with that one Marvelous petitioner as they're mostly likely scrambling to formulate some kind of strategy effective enough to deal with this level of blowback.
And they absolutely are scrambling. In less than two years the Switch has already surpassed the PS4's lifetime sales. The soy and lightbeam memes, and most damningly being called more kiddy than Nintendo, have ravaged their branding. Holiday sales have proven less than stellar. And if the rumors are true that the PS5 announcement is right around the corner, that can only mean that they've already sunk a lot of money into its development. And when it comes, whatever happens is more than likely going to be a bloodbath in the vein of the Xbox ONE reveal at the very least.
Again, people don't have short memories. The censorship is just one item on top of the rapidly growing pile of grievances. This is alongside the constant pozz from shit like God of Soy and RDR2. Bans from PSN over bantz, the shitty implementation of their username change system and people losing content they paid for, termination of GR2's online support, termination of Vita support. And don't forget the recent shit not related to the gaming division such as the jpg DRM and the censorship of that one anime. Nor do those old enough forget the censorship or legal hearings from the NES/SNES era. And alongside the nonstop socjus and faggotry being put on full blast though so many other media groups including soyny, people aren't simply going to forget the sins that have been commited.
Maybe they could have gotten away with it if they boiled the frog slowly, but for whatever reason the suits decided to just turn the dial up to maximum heat right off the bat. Their haphazard implementation of their policies, along with the obnoxious politically correct climate, has sealed their fate.
I like to try and get inside the thought processes of individuals and organizations alike. Whenever I witness strange or illogical behavior I like to ask myself, “Under what circumstances would I have made these decisions?” I guarantee you that despite Soyny's overall silence they are in a full-blown fucking panic. They are torn between their customers and their pathological need to virtue signal. But you can't un-burn bridges, and there's no way they're going to be able to rebuild them so long as they are less focused on their own financial well being than their possible scoring of woke points that are redeemable for absolutely nothing.

I can see how that philosophy would be helpful in business. I've heard that to truly succeed you can't be afraid to just move on past failures and don't let the fear of failing again get in your way. I think that's an important lesson for business ventures as it's just applying things you do in other areas of life to bigger ventures. The FGO devs did admit they made a mistake with Merlin and they never made anyone as strong as him on the support side and they did make the game's content harder so you couldn't stomp anything in one shot with Merlin supporting someone (Break bars. Brave Exvius' case also applies to the Kingdom Hearts gacha game while Opera Omnia is the complete opposite mostly because when you do a 10-summon in Opera Omnia got get 11 items with one of them being a guaranteed 5* weapon with a 90% chance of it being for a character in the banner or something like that.

It's called IVs because it's simple but it's more like Natures in Pokemon: Your characters will often have a stat it does better at and one it is worse at.
For example, you got Hector from summoning. After checking his stats you notice that his Speed is higher than average while his Attack is lower than it should be which makes him not as good as if it was the other way around.
It took Intelligent Systems almost 2 years to tell people this system exists even if people already know and the only way to fix the bad stat, according to them, will be to merge a duplicate of that character. For the sake of the example it means you need another Hector to get Attack the one you got back to normal assuming his IVs are also bad.
It doesn't help that rolling the gacha in FEH is almost a mechanic in itself to properly progress through the game's content.
The whole Fates and Awakening bias is bad when you see that about 60% of the units in that game are from Fates. Maybe not counting the absurd amount of alternate and seasonal versions of the same character.
