Yes, but they also have a purple stat, and the number of purple stat points is consistent across all my demon's so I assume that's the bonues they get for my magic. My only guess for yellow demon points is some randomly added point(s) so when you catch a demon you've had before it's not necessarily exactly the same. Though the difference is negligable, so I don't think it's a really good guess. Also, on Raidou, yellow stat points are the bonus for his katana.

For older consoles, yes. With a few rare edge cases such as DKC being best on PAL SNES since it was actually developed for it, and the colours are supposed to be better. Seventh gen onwards sometimes has region locking but is technically capable of running other regions with jailbreaking, at least with Wii. Not sure about Xbox360. Dreamcast can be hacked to switch region, or load out-of-region games too with no issue. Anything earlier probably sucks outside of NTSC but you'd need to look into it specifically.For most handhelds it isn't an issue, the major exception is 3DS enforces region locking (fixable though).

Dunno if it's 100 hours, but FFX-2 is extremely egregious when it comes to 100% completion. Entirely missable characters that need to be talked to and the ones you do talk to can't have any dialogue skipped whatsoever.

no, there are several maps that are connected to each other with a fixed path definitely not the same way morrowind handles the map i.e it is one big map split in several chunks that are loaded dynamically.

I think it runs offline, but not 100% sure, haven't really thought about that. you can play it alone with AI but it's more build for 4p coop (otoh you get more of the story and can go about it on your own pace going solo). map is XBOXHUEG while being landscape porn with an almost autistic amount of guns, should keep you busy for least a few dozen hours if you're into it. can even go all in with permadeath and shit, but the AI is too cancer on highest difficulty for my taste.

I recently got gifted Tekken 7 and I've been trying very hard to like it to not be an ungrateful shithead, but god I just can't seem to find the fun in it at all.

Coming from GG and SC, this game feels so awfully stiff. The movesets all seem to be just 10000 variations of generic punch and kick, and fights just seem to be a turtling contest until someone can land the unbreakable 50% HP combo into the other dude first. The lack of any sort of guard breaker or block gauge really makes it feel stiff too.

I have Persona 5 for the PS4Kids in my backlog for over a year and haven't gotten around playing it. If you really want pvp then you will probably need to get DS3, and it has the weakest pvp of all the souls games IMO. I prefer Dark Souls 1 over DeS, though since multiplayer is pretty much dead for them both you can't go too wrong. Make sure you get DSfix for the PC versions of DS unless you want to gouge your eyes out.

I never played Nioh so I can't say whether that's worth starting out on, I've heard good things about it though.

Both Gravity Rushes are good games, but the remaster of the first runs into a few issues, namely that SCEA deliberately shortprinted it, leaving the options as follow:

SSD's don't need to be defragged because they're fundamentally different then a HDD. All available space on a SSD can be accessed in a non-sequential manner at the same speed - the bottleneck itself becomes the hardware controller. On a HDD, when data is written, it's written to the first available spot as the disk spins. That's what causes fragmentation. Defragging is rewriting non-sequental data into sequential blocks. Now the fun stuff, because a SSD doesn't work the same way as magnetic storage - each block requires a zero state. So if data is erased, but not reset(trimmed) when data is written each block is cleared then written. With old SSD's 1st and 2nd gen this leads to nonuniform wear, leading to premature block failures, this is similar to the old cascade failures on HDD's where one bad block would cause multiple blocks to become corrupted and in-turn trash the drive.

Code VFD seems really barebones for an rpg game these days, although i wouldnt say it was a bad game but it has a couple of features that just sort of seem tacked on.

Character classes are alright for the most part from what I remember but the "dating sim" portion of the game is basically you picking a character to fllirt with and them just staring at each other for 1 second before the screen fades to black with some flavor text. Not to mention every class' strongest weapon is hidden behind this dating sim so there's really no reason why you shouldn't do it with everyone.

The music isn't bad and I don't think the battle system was bad enough for to give it any negatives on it ( at least from what I remember) but the game's story is very predictable.

If anything i'd play the other 7th dragon games and just skip this one.

I hope you have played the other ones first. They all have fan translations. The first one on DS is heavily inspired by Etrian Odyssey, but is more of a traditional JRPG with an overworld. It gets pretty tedious even when you use the optional patch with the fan translation that reduces encounter rates and damage from the bloom. If you think that sounds like casual nonsense, it's because you haven't played the game.

The PSP games are very different in tone, with clearly different character designs. The gameplay is also significantly changed, and you can only have three party members. The first one is fairly good I would say, but these games are best played on an emulator to let you speed the unskippable combat animations up. The second is very similar, but not as good overall due to the inferior (and frequently recycled) environments and music.

VFD is still very similar to the two PSP games, but with some changes. It also suffers from disappointing environments and recycled areas, even more than 2020-2. In fact, I would say that the overall really dull environments hurt it significantly since being able to explore cool areas is important in a dungeon crawler. 2020 set the bar for the series with lots of cool dungeons with fitting, good music to go with them, and its two sequels just didn't match up.

Aside from the dating sim shit mentioned by the person above (you have to fuck almost every character to get the best gear, that includes males), there is a tranny main character and a massive fuckton of nigs. It's absurd how many of them there are in future Japan. And then there's the ancient magical race, where the girls are all animal eared white anime girls and all the guys are brown elves. An entire race of natural racemixing, isn't that wonderful. To top it all off, the one that gives you the DLC quest to recruit the gothic lolita girl from the 2020 games is a pitch black nog, so you get to enjoy seeing him drool over her.

Emulates just fine. Be warned though that there's a glitch that may cause the game to freeze up after beating the final boss that may or may not have to do with some sound settings, and thus lock you out of accessing the bonus dungeon. Should be easy to get passed with save states though.

It literally has a DPS check and has a pretty good amount of HP but once you get past that point you're all set since it should unlock your class changes.
