Pokemon is my favorite franchise. I've owned and beaten every main series game apart from X/Y, and have played many notable spin offs such as XD/Coliseum, PMD, etc.
I fucking hate breeding cause I don't understand how to IV breed. Thankfully they made it easier in gen 7 by introducing hyper training. Catch is that you gotta go to lvl.100, and without Blissey bash bases its fucking hard.
Best way is to just mod the mons in. But unfortunately, I removed my homebrew. So I have to wait until the niggas hack the FW version and find out how to put homebrew on it.
I love battling, but I haven't played so much recently. I've been needing a break from it is all. Plus I was kinda waiting for the tiers to even out, cause at the start of a gen they allow stupidly broken mons. I like to play ubers, but when I play OU I expect to not have to play against Genesect and shit of that nature.
Pokemon Showdown is a great site. Only problem is that its obviously not as aesthetically pleasing as the game itself. I did love Pokemon Moon ingame wise. But until I get money for pokemon bank, I cant transfer over the mons I cheated in Omega Ruby. Sucks man

What hyper training does is raise your IV's. These are a hidden stat that goes from 0-31, and influences your actual stat. With HT you can raise them all to 31 so you dont have to fuck around with breeding. Only problem is that you still have to IV breed for hidden power.
EV's are a stat that goes from 0-252(255?) and they give you certain bonuses to the stat.
Natures are a thing that give you 10% bonus to one stat, while trading off another stat at 10%. Or you can just have a neutral nature, but that's highly recommended against

I know what IVs, EVs, and Natures do.
The trick is that Hyper Training doesn't actually change your IVs, it triggers a flag in the game for it to act as if you had an IV of 31, but it doesn't actually change your IV at all.
This gives it a number of interesting characteristics, the most relevant for someone like you is that it lets you control the power and type of Hidden Power, while still having a maxed IV spread.
The most relevant to me is that if I breed a hyper trained pokemon, it won't pass on a maxed IV.
It'll pass on whatever the IV was prior to hyper training.
Which means that hyper training is literally worthless to me, since I'm more into breeding and raising the pokemon anyway.
As for getting to level 100 being tedious and boring, just use the island, and do something else.
