Is that pretty easy on him? Well I guess it is a massive weapon. I honestly never parried in dark souls one, two and three though, I destroyed at it especially in PvP

No, I do like them.
The point isn't that I dislike games that don't do it, but I like when a game acknowledges a higher level of play then what might be standard.
You can't beat an RPG at level one. And most will force you to level to progress. Even if it's at a tedious pace. Some do some don't.
Games like KH and DS give players an option to level past the difficulty, or allow them to cease leveling either by the souls mechanic or KH having an ability that simply halts EXP gain.
A lot of games don't allow for player options like this. They tend to want everyone to play on the same level generally.

I say RPG as in turn based games like Pokemon or Earthbound.
I get RPG has kind of become a way broader term lately.

When intimate knowledge of a game allows for more varied game play I am instantly turned on. So many bosses felt like I was just mashing the attack button.
Same with the random fights I would get into. Not a lot of it felt rewarding until post game where I really had to think about what I was doing and plan.

I can't really explain h20 very well, from MAL:
>Takuma Hirose is a blind young male high school student, though the cause for his blindness is undetermined. In order to heal his medical condition, he is sent to live in a village with his uncle. There, he meets several girls, three of which stand out more than any of the others. They are Hayami Kohinata, Hinata Kangura, and Otoha. Otoha temporarily heals his blindness and Hirose uses his sight to help others. He finds out that, for some reason, Hayami Kohinata is hated in the village, and he tries his best to help her out. Meanwhile, many sad secrets unfold in the village…
bebop is one of the best animes out there IMO.
Angel beats is about people who are dead but have unfinished dreams, so they are in this limbo realm.

Mhm. I still have all of them somewhere, in 1080p. Good movies, but only because they were based on a good game. That, and the animation is fucking gorgeous.
Ever saw Persona 4 the animation? That's fucking shit compared to this.

Bebop is one of those anime that has a lot of down moments where there's not a lot of action and mostly exposition and atmospheric moments.
I wouldn't blame people for finding it boring now and then when most anime is fast paced and action packed now.

I'm not saying anime is all bad, but many nowadays do kind of just get pushed out and are too tropy for me. But that's just me. I still like some of them that are like that, but it's hit or miss.
Sakamoto Desu Ga was fun, and Daily Lives of Highschool Boys too. Both tropy as hell.

the only anime I particularly dislike are ones such as AOT and shit. The ones that are shoved down your fucking throat, raping your taste in anime for not watching it yet. I HATE circlejerks like that.
Luckily enough I wasnt a victim of the one piece circlejerk. And I mean fuck, at least its a circlejerk for a good reason. Namely speculating all the mysteries of the show

Well, thats the problem. I dont want to give it a go because the fans of it already ruined it for me
That being said, I normally do ignore that and try to look at the art for what it is, and not the fans of said art
Its just that I dont want to even give it a try, because it has been shoved down my throat so much.

This was my exact philosophy with Undertale. It was so shoved down my throat and I was like, "fuck this its so stupid go away"
I tried it and ended up loving it a lot
As a content creator, this is a real inconvenience. If I am releasing the content after it dies down, it wont be relevant…
I honestly dont think I will give AOT a try ever

I feel like the idea of judging art based on the fandom is stupid. But the problem is that the people are associated with the art, and the people are shit, so somewhere in your mind you make the connection that the art is shit
Its highly illogical, but its a little psychological quirk I guess.
I wish I didnt think this way though. I now understand what Pricia meant by the community influencing the game. So I was wrong

Yeah being cucked by the community leads to disaster all around.
I normally dont mind it, but sometimes it gets to me. I only especially hate in on multiplayer games. Its not the issue that I cant deal with non-safe space areas, not thick skinned, etc. I can deal with that very well, I am very tolerant
The issue lies within how it isnt even fun at that point. Everyone is being a blithering idiot and not even trying to play the game. When the community makes the game unplayable, thats when its a problem
